In current news, Kristi Noem's hearing is going on as I post this. She's 53. And still smoking hot. Damn.

Edit - speaking oh hot chicks, we have found our new Ambassador to Australia. Scroll to the vidoe clip where she blows a kiss then slaps her own cute butt.

Danielle Collins is one of my favs. Love her story, her journey, her edge.

But alas, she was taken down last night by Madison Keys (whom I also like even tho she kinda looks like some sort of rodent). Taihtsat

Grfhjtdffhhrrggg. Slap. Slap. Grsgjjdgrrhgg

You’re getting slapped in the chin with Trump Steaks for hours, when does Trump Ice explode all over your face?
Your intellectually astounding arguments are truly overwhelming me. Well, all except the fact that they are devoid of any substance and simply are third grade level insults.

You are right - Keys does sort of look like a rodent. But I envy her for her take down of Danielle. I could gnaw on her (Danielle) like a rodent. Just sayin'..........

It is kind of disingenuous to suggest that Trump's only failed business ventures were the Atlantic City casinos. From his own S-4 for Trump Media and Technology Group:

"Trump Shuttle Inc., launched by President Trump in 1989, defaulted on its loans in 1990 and ceased to exist by 1992. Trump University, founded by President Trump in 2005, ceased operations in 2011 amid lawsuits and investigations regarding the company’s business practices. Trump Vodka, a brand of vodka produced by Drinks Americas under license from the Trump Organization, was introduced in 2005 and discontinued in 2011.”

“Trump Mortgage, LLC, a financial services company founded by President Trump in 2006, ceased operations in 2007. GoTrump.com, a travel site founded by President Trump in 2006, ceased operations in 2007. Trump Steaks, a brand of steak and other meats founded by President Trump in 2007, discontinued sales two months after its launch.”

Here is an independent compilation of Trump business failures:
  1. Trump Airlines — Trump borrowed $245 million to purchase Eastern Air Shuttle. He branded it Trump Airlines. He added gold bathroom fixtures. Two years later Trump could not cover the interest payment on his loan and defaulted.
  2. Trump Beverages — Although Trump touted his water as "one of the purest natural spring waters bottled in the world," it was simply bottled by a third party. Other beverages, including Trump Fire and Trump Power, seem not to have made it to market. And Trump's American Pale Ale died with a trademark withdrawal.
  3. Trump Game — Milton Bradley tried to sell it. As did Hasbro. After investment, the game died and went out of circulation.
  4. Trump Casinos — Trump filed for bankruptcy three times on his casinos, namely the Trump Taj Mahal, the Trump Marina and the Trump Plaza in New Jersey and the Trump Casino in Indiana. Trump avoided debt obligations of $3 billion the first time. Then $1.8 billion the second time. And then after reorganizing, shuffling money and assets, and waiting four years, Trump again declared bankruptcy after missing ongoing interest payments on multi-million dollar bonds. He was finally forced to step down as chairman.
  5. Trump Magazine — Trump Style and Trump World were renamed Trump Magazine to reap advertising dollars from his name recognition. However, Trump Magazine also went out of business.
  6. Trump Mortgage — Trump told CNBC in 2006 that "I think it's a great time to start a mortgage company. … The real-estate market is going to be very strong for a long time to come." Then the real estate market collapsed. Trump had hired E.J. Ridings as CEO of Trump Mortgage and boasted that Ridings had been a "top executive of one of Wall Street's most prestigious investment banks." Turned out Ridings had only six months of experience as a stockbroker. Trump Mortgage closed and never paid a $298,274 judgment it owed a former employee, nor the $3,555 it owed in unpaid taxes.
  7. Trump Steaks — Trump closed Trump Steaks due to a lack of sales while owing Buckhead Beef $715,000.
  8. Trump's Travel Site — GoTrump.com was in business for one year. Failed.
  9. Trumpnet — A telephone communication company that abandoned its trademark.
  10. Trump Tower Tampa — Trump sold his name to the developers and received $2 million. Then the project went belly-up with only $3,500 left in the company. Condo buyers sued Trump for allegedly misleading them. Trump settled and paid as little as $11,115 to buyers who had lost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
  11. Trump University or the Trump Entrepreneur Initiative — Trump staged wealth-building seminars costing up to $34,995 for mentorships that would offer students access to Trump's secrets of success. Instructors turned out to be motivational speakers sometimes with criminal records. Lawsuits and criminal investigations abound.
  12. Trump Vodka — Business failed due to a lack of sales.
  13. Trump Fragrances — Success by Trump, Empire by Trump, and Donald Trump: The Fragrances all failed due to being discontinued, perhaps as a result of few sales.
  14. Trump Mattress — Serta stopped offering a Trump-branded mattress, again likely due to slacking sales.
Excellent research, much better than the usual here. Now are you going to research and discuss the other side of the W/L ledger to balance things out? How many projects did he successfully complete in NYC, how many buildings were built, how many golf courses were brought on line, and importantly, how many jobs were created by him over the years.

You know, I never said he was perfect, never said that the casino failures were his only mistakes, I simply thought that fairness should dictate that successes must be evaluated as well as his failures. For some reason (TDS?) some folks simply want to attack the guy for the mistakes/failures and ignore the successes.

This is an excellent exhibition of what TRUE TDS really is.

This thread was about a (at best) questionable pick for Secretary of defense that made no mention of trump until you invoked his name in #17 and then all the other sycophants came out to deflect to Harris, Hunter and other whataboutisms.

It is deranged to so aggressively defend a fundamentally indecent person at all costs. Are y'all related to him? It's as if you are personally offended - like he was your father or something.

You don't see this kind of deranged defense put on by the left, mainly because there has been no need to but also because we're generally honest enough to just say "i like (insert blank candidates name) policies better. I think they'd be better for the country, don't really care about their personal failings"

You'd be due much more respect if you just simply said " yeah, he's a piece of shit person who morally I can't stand. I just think his policies are gonna be better for the country. The rest I won't pretend to defend" Just OWN it for god's sake. Taihtsat

You and Flat are 180 degrees off on what TDS actually is. Sorry for breaking that to you. If you want to make a point about someone defending Trump, you will need to come up with a new acronym.

No relation at all. I think my defenses come down to the fact that he was NEVER given a chance and has been attacked unfairly many times. The impeachments, the lawfare, the 51 intel liars, the Mara Lago search, etc.

No deranged defense like Trump gets? Have YOU been sleeping through the past four years under Joe Biden? Holy shit, man!

Look, I do NOT agree with everything the guy does, how he goes about some things, etc, but he has done some pretty good things as president before and I am counting on him to take some major steps towards straightening out the giant cluster**** that Joe and Kammy have done to the country.

BTW, just curious about your view on something, on how Trump has been treated. Do you approve of how the department of Justice has treated Trump so differently than they have treated Clintons, Biden, etc? Do you approve of prosecutors twisting laws around into completely novel new legal theories that had never before been used just to "get Trump"? Do you approve of prosecutors promising to "get Trump" somehow when running for office. Leticia James, Alvin Bragg, and Fani Willis all did that- promising to prosecute him for something, anything, when they had no basis in mind when running for office.

Your intellectually astounding arguments are truly overwhelming me. Well, all except the fact that they are devoid of any substance and simply are third grade level insults.
My juvenile humor isn’t for you Stretch, you’ve been sucking Trump off since I stumbled across this board and I suspect you were jerking off to the idea of a racist misogynistic pig in power well before that. I don’t expect you to stop or find me funny, but plenty of others find your written fellatio hilarious so this is just added content.

You just confirmed everything I accused you of. The TDS is very strong in you.

First you deny then complain he's been treated unfairly, then invoke Biden and Clinton all the while claiming youndont agree with everything he says or does. Classic TDS.

The dept of justice was correct in pursuing cases against him regarding classified files and his role in the attack on the Capitol and election interference in georgia. They have jurisdiction there. Those other cases were separate and confined to fraud and junk that he had SOME responsibility for. I think it's possible the 37 felony counts were jacked up a bit. But that's the only one.

You act as though he is being picked on randomly just because. He has been involved in LOTS of shady shit that you just keep trying to explain away as him being an innocent victim

Yup. Always the victim. One of the reasons his cultists revere him so much. Everyone’s out to get them too.

The humorous thing about folks like Stretch is that they will cry and moan about Trump being investigated....but those same people spent years yelling, "What about the emails!" in their desperate desire to weaponize the Justice Department to harm Hillary Clinton's chances to win the 2016 election and then attack her afterwards.

FWIW, I don't like Clinton and wish that she was never involved in politics. I have no use for her, but I just love the hypocrisy of dipshits that tongue Trump's taint.

Go ahead and check out the origin of TDS again, look at how it came from Krauthammer discussing Bush Derangement Syndrome. When you and Flat try to redefine it in typical liberal fashion (like trying to change a criminal from illegal alien into an undocumented worker) is simply a losers mentality.

Trump is not being randomly picked on, as you claim I think. Nope, he is specifically being attacked because of the establishments hate for him. Their TDS. And okay, I have no argument of other things that he did or is claimed he did, but then take whatever actions are justified in other instances, do not make up novel untested legal theories to attack him because they are so ****ing butthurt about losing an election to him and then being terrified that he would win again in 2024.

The GA case wasn't done by the feds, it was done by Fani Willis (County DA, I believe), although they did go to WA DC to consult (conspire) with the feds. So if it was such a horrible thing that you think Trump did in GA, that it was an obvious case of election interference, why then did they have to come up with some novel legal theory that had never been used before? Using a statute that was intended specifically to be used against organized crime? So in order to "get Trump" as she specifically campaigned on she cooks up this scheme to charge him with and you guys something think that he is not being treated differently under the law? Please explain that one.

Hillary Clinton set up her private server to conduct all her business in violation of government rules and regulations. It was proven that she had classified information on the server and she refused to cooperate with subpoena requests to investigate. Yet she was not prosecuted. Joe Biden was found to have classified documents in several locations, documents illegally taken form SCIF's during his time as a senator, and the documents were not stored in any kind of a secure location. He was NOT authorized by position to have those documents, yet he was not prosecuted. Donald Trump WAS authorized to have classified documents because as president of the US he was the highest classifying authority. His team had been negotiating with the records organization and had actually allowed them to come down to Mara Lago to search for documents. Mara Lago was under Secret Service protection as normal for a past president, yet Merrick Garland authorized a raid of the location with deadly force. And yet you guys think there was not unequal application of the law under those circumstances? Please explain the reasoning behind that.

You think I am lying when I say that I don't agree with everything he says and does? Something to consider-I don't agree with or like a lot of his personal attacks. He should focus on actions and policies more. I don't agree with him on not taxing tips and overtime. Income is income and should ALL be taxed at whatever the going rate is on the federal tax forms. I didn't agree with things in the tax act from 2017, that limited some tax deductions. To me, ANY tax that you pay, no matter how much, should be deducted from federal taxes. That includes state income taxes, property taxes, vehicle taxes, gas taxes, utility taxes, sales taxes, etc. You see, doing things that way provides for doing thing fairly.

That's enough for now.

FFS, the DOJ made the decision to release a report two weeks before the 2016 election in a clear effort led by Republicans to weaponize the DOJ to help Trump win. Her actions may or may not have been illegal (I don't care at this point) but Trump's actions have clearly been illegal in the eyes of the DOJ and worthy of prosecution. Both the Clinton prosecution and Trump prosecution were clearly politically motivated.

Because your lips are stuck on Trump's taint, you can't see past his ass cheeks and see any reality....and that's ok. Half the people in our country are dumber than average and the majority of that dumber half are Trump supporters. Every post that you put up in support of Trump suggests that you are falling on the wrong side of the line. You've got plenty of company there.

So you don't give a shit whether Clinton's action were illegal (hint- they were) and likely created serious security issues for the USA (it was widely felt that her server had been hacked by Iran and Russia), but you sure as Hell care about past actions of Trump. Why aren't you in favor of equal treatment under the law? Why are you being being so hypocritical? How come I saw your picture as the poster boy in dictionary.com this morning when I looked up TDS?

Check out the timeline from CNN. And remember that all this could well have been wrapped up much earlier if Clinton and her staff/support folks had cooperated with the investigation.

Also keep in mind that the Attorney General at that time was Loretta Lynch and that FBI Director James Comey did NOT like Trump. I doubt either one of them was doing a single thing to benefit him, as shown with their other against against him.

September 2, 2016 – The FBI releases its report on the Clinton email investigation.

September 7, 2016 – According to emails released by congressional Democrats, Powell told Clinton that he used his own personal computer to communicate and send emails with friends and foreign leaders without going through the State Department’s server.

September 13, 2016 – Pagliano, a former State Department staffer who was involved in setting up and maintaining Clinton’s private email server, refuses to appear at a hearing before the House Oversight Committee.

September 22, 2016 – Members of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee vote to hold Pagliano in contempt for failing to appear at a hearing.

September 23, 2016 – It is revealed that Cheryl Mills, Clinton’s chief of staff and adviser at the State Department, was given a limited immunity deal by the FBI during its investigation of Clinton’s private email server.

The same day, the FBI releases nearly 200 pages of notes from its investigation of Clinton’s private email server.

October 28, 2016 – In a letter to Congress, Comey says the FBI is reviewing new emails related to Clinton’s time as secretary of state, according to a letter sent to eight congressional committee chairmen. The emails are discovered as part of an investigation into Anthony Weiner and were sent or received by Clinton aide Abedin.

November 6, 2016 – Based on a review of the newly discovered emails, Comey tells lawmakers that the agency has not changed its opinion that Clinton should not face criminal charges.

No...I don't care. The whole damn thing is so politicized that it's ridiculous. And when your dear leader used his cell phone for presidential business....you f#ckers pretended like it didn't matter. Fuggin' hypocrites. If you want to write another five paragraphs explaining why you care, knock yourself out.
