as 12.5 pt favorites. The line is now -15.5. I see this as a good bet either way. The idiots at the other board see a 25 pt blowout in the first half. Are they right? The monitor who is probably one of them protects them from criticism.

Creighton just beat Wisky by 12 while we struggled with CWU. It's not realistic to expect anything other than a blowout. Creighton has been a good program for some time.

Maybe we keep close, pull off an upset, but the line is increasing because they agree with the other board.

I'm staying sane as a fan by just hoping for a little hope this year, enjoying Hawkinson's final year, and keeping hope alive on a couple good spring surprises. This looks like a rough ride.

There is a big difference between a 15.5 line and a blowout.Criegton beat Whiskey in a tight game which was blown open late. criegton is a well balanced team with a PG rated the best in the Big Least. It will be an interesting game to watch. If one is so confident of a blowout,one can bet on the internet. Just plunk down around 2 grand on Creiegton and get the easy money. The in tenet sites are reputable. They wired me about 9 K about 2 years ago on a parley. Go for it!!

Games like this are a bad bet no matter which way you go. Good chance they miss the spread by +/- 10 or more either direction

That is why i said it is a"good bet" either way. That is why it is called gambling.If they missed it by +10,the cougs lose by only 4-5 pts,That is not a blowout. If Creighton wins by 30,then that is a blowout. i think the line is about where it should be. Thus i am not predicting a blowout but a competitive game . But there are better games to bet on and i would avoid this game.

I would never place a bet on WSU. There have been a few times over the years that were no brainers but not a chance. That's just me though.

It doesn't appear this game is on TV but there is a $20/month stream unless CBS streams it free.

So those idiots can lay $2000 down and win ,easy money. Complete fools . The over and under is set at 154.5 pts if anyone is interested.

So it's 60-36, so 25+ was off base.

Seriously, Clifford goes for 20 on one end and probably gave up 20 on the other. We are a flawed bunch. I am so tired of horrible Ike sequences but not much else ready to step into his spot.

What do you do when you can't score without Hawkinson and Clifford on the floor?

Flynn's not ready for big boy basketball just yet. He might be fine vs D-III & C. Washington, but Creighton is a totally different level.

I too really think that the cougs would be better off without Ike. He is just not a good basketball player. I said it last year and he is living up to my predictions. The final Creighton 103 cougs 74. Conner had a good showing with 29 pts. i would guess that Flynn is a little shell shocked .He will probably will not meet a better PG than he faced tonight. I would hope that EK realizes that Ike is just not a good basketball Player. i did not see the game but would like to see the final stats

Ike makes a lot of middle school mistakes but Callison hasn't done enough to take his minutes. Either has Daniels and Langston doesn't appeared to answer many questions either.

However I dont think Clifford can take much blame for the 16 3s that Creighton hit. We just dont have anyone who can shoot the ball. We hit 3 3s and one eas a bank according to the radio.

No, it's not Clifford's fault but as good of an offensive weapon on a team without much offense he does give up a lot on the other end. They need both Clifford and Hawkinson on the floor for offense but they force us to zone which becomes a shooting drill for the other team.

When this group leaves, the tank is empty. Flynn & Pollard & will develop in time but Franks, Daniels, Langston, and the redshirts just won't get WSU out of 12th place. Kent hasn't recruited squat compared to the other Pac-12 teams and probably never will. Sad state of Cougar basketball.

This was a top ten team and they are playing in mid season form/ O saw the stats. WSU was out rebounded 39-33. Langston got 16 minutes.

Flynn had zero pts and 1 assist in 22 minutes of action. Watson his opposing PG had 13 assists and 7 pts. Pollard had decent stats for the minutes he played. King also did not score. The cougs were shell shocked by an talented, aggressive team. I still have hope for the cougs.What is important is how Flynn reacts to being thoroughly outplayed by one of the best PG s in college basketball. Creighton was hot from the 3 pt land and the cougs did not match up well talent wise and in being aggressive. Hopefully it was a learning and growing experience for the cougs.

I agree on Hawk and Clifford. Hawk has increased his mobility a lot but you cant build your offense around a back to the basket center in the modern game. Clifford would be a quality center on our teams of the 70s and 80s. I kind of feel sorry for him. He just came in to the game in the wrong era. Good teams today will shred you with the 3 if you cant extend the defense. Having a non mobile scorer at the 5 is a luxury you cant afford.

Not worried about Flynn. He will have his ups and downs but he is a quality pg.

Conner will have his good games this year.He does have a good medium range jump shot which would be effective if and when the cougs show more movement.His biggest challenge is playing defense against a mobile big man. Flynn needs to man up and accept the challenge against quality point guards. I am sure that he will look at tape and inside of himself to face the challenges.i like him as a player.
