Cyclone Fan and transplant Washingtonian here

So, you're a hypocrite as well as a conspiracy theorist.

Good to know.

How am I a hypocrite? I pushed for Moos to expand the stadium and it was a tremendous success.

I supported Leach from day 1 and we have had 4 winning seasons.

I don’t support Walden or Wulff because they made WSU worse they had their chance they both wore out their welcome and were given plenty of time.

I don’t support needless wars that kill people and squander the wealth of the people and I absolutely hate anyone that does that. Because they deserve it.

I also support people that use their brain to understand things. Not emotions. Not gut. Their brain. If you are stupid well I’m not going to like you running things. I like smart people not dumb ones. Especially in administration capacity.

That’s as consistent as it gets.

And the term “conspiracy theorist” was created by the CIA to try and discredit people telling the truth.

What’s funny is you say “tin foil hat” which comes from people thinking the government is reading their brain.

Guess what. They are reading your emails and all your communication.

They can even tap your Samsung TV and listen and watch you

Why do you think they care so much about Assange. Because he’s telling the truth with their own documents.

The tin foil hats were right... it’s just you don’t want to accept reality. It’s hard for people to adjust to the fact they were lied to their whole life and believed the bullsh*t

Nope, not all of us agree on that. I lived thru the Walden WSU era. He’s one of the most important figures in our football history. The perfect personality to garner attention during the peak of the Don James dynasty. If there was ever a WSU coach who did more with less, it was Walden. Think recruiting to Pullman is hard now? Imagine how much work it took in 1980.

Walden the announcer and media personality is not the Walden I choose to remember. I remember the legendary WSU figure who helped resuscitate our program and who was the best Apple Cup coach in program history.

He’s always welcome in Pullman as far as I’m concerned.

I choose to look at all of him, because that is what he really is. Walden and WSU is complicated. Fact is, both you and Tron are correct about certain issues.

Debs was a Communist. You ARE whacked.

No.
“Debs's desideratum was one of peace and co-operation between labor and capital, but he expected management to treat labor with respect, honor and social equality"

He was a social capitalist. One of the early ones.

The free market is excellent, but corporations have a civic duty to their workers and their communities in which they operate.

This is essentially the balance between capital and labor and is of critical importance. For example to focus too much on Labor will bankrupt a company, to focus too much on profits drains the economy and cripples the worker.

Hopefully you don’t mean celebrating his death someday.

I don't understand all the hate for Walden. Yes we have had much better coaches in the history of WSC/U, and certainly Leach, Price, Erickson, and Hollingbery were all much better. But Walden did manage to get the Cougars into the 1981 Holiday Bowl which was the first bowl for the program since the 1931 Rose Bowl. A span of 50 years! Coach Walden also did beat the Dawgs a few times. The man had his flaws (don't we all) and his win/loss total leaves much to be desired, but wishing him dead and celebrating the prospect of his demise is juvenile and SICK, SICK, SICK!

Price and Erickson were both listed as professional references on Paul Wulff's resume/application. Mike Kramer was the other.

Submit a Freedom of Information Act request if you don't believe me.

Dennis Erickson was the head coach at Arizona State at the time Wulff was being interviewed.
Dennis Erickson being listed as a "reference" is about as meaningful as ASU basketball coach Rob Evans endorsing Paul Graham's retention 4 years earlier.

Price's unofficial candidacy got trashed publically by Walden (and likely privately by Sterk). Pretty likely Price was also listed as a reference by Kevin Sumlin.

Neither Erickson nor Price hired Wulff onto their own staffs with multiple opportunities over the years. Apparently the only player from the Aloha Bowl team ever hired by either was Bruiser at the end of Erickson's HC career.
