I saw Dan perform and listened to his radio show back in the 80s. Even worked at Kinko’s with a girlfriend of his and met him through her. Don’t remember much about him personally but enjoyed his performances and radio show. Not sure how many are of the era that they heard Dan Maher perform around Pullman, but word came out through one of the alumni groups that he passed away earlier today. No other details so far.

He was the blind guy, right? If so I remember him.I saw Dan perform and listened to his radio show back in the 80s. Even worked at Kinko’s with a girlfriend of his and met him through her. Don’t remember much about him personally but enjoyed his performances and radio show.
He had a heart attack a few months ago and it was then discovered that he had stage 4 liver cancer. Apparently he retired abruptly and cancelled his radio show of 39 years about 5 years ago after getting in trouble for making unwelcome advances on a student. Think he was a student advisor on campus.
RIP Dan
