It is true. Close friends son was on that bus and just got the text.
Happened outside of George and bus flipped. Sounds like there is black ice on I 90
One bus out of three rolled, and it seems everyone is (relatively) OK. Band should still be there tomorrow.
The UW AD & the Tyee Club are flooded with a surplus and they make the band ride the bus to the Boeing Apple Cup on Thanksgiving Day.

Well no broken bones or lazararions. Sore necks and sore body parts , and in our friends case a concussion from the sounds of it. I got a call saying he has some memory loss, which hopefully is just a concussion but makes it clear there has to be a better plan. I have a second family friend whose son left after Thanksgiving dinner .
Personally I felt the wrath of that drive back in 86 when hit a sheet of ice going 55. Three spins and rolled three times over the embankment . I will not drive the road at night.
Fortunately the three people in my car where not injured severally as none of us were belted .
Ok - now that we know nobody was hurt and people rallied to feed the band members and all is good, let's get back to good old fashioned Apple Week hate/smack (heard this from a friend this morning):

I hope their band, especially those involved in the crash, show up for the game today. That’s what makes these rivalry games so fun. Those are 18-22 year old kids. Glad everyone appears to be ok.
