I'm still thinkin 5-10" is generous from this picture even though he is obviously sitting down. Ha!, maybe he's actually standing up? Probably closer to 5-7" than 5-10". In a way that would give me more hope his skills translate to Pac 12 and his height kept programs away. I would also say he needs to become a very good shooter and he's probably not there yet. At least we have some competition between Dunbar, Redding, and Iroegbu at PG although I still see Iroegbu as a secondary ball handler unless he improves in multiple areas.

His shooting has improved. In his 40 pt game he hit 7 three pointers He will have to be able to shoot from the outside. I hear that he is actually 5'8 which kept some big colleges away.

I am assuming he will need to continue to improve but with shooting it simply comes down to how hard are you willing to work at it. Along with the height that's also why Chauca was more highly coveted than Dunbar.

Dunbar will be a crowd favorite and will lend some excitement, long lacking,to the games in Pullman.A good point guard will help make other players better. Now if Kent can land another quality big man,it would make a huge difference on next years team

I just watched some more of Dunbar's videos. What really is missing in his game is a having a 'floater" going toward the basket after he penetrates. He needs to be able to put up a shot before he gets too deep or he is not a a threat to score once he gets among the trees. Otherwise he will just have to put up jump shots and this diminishes his ability to score and the trees will not try to stop him once he penetrates. The trees will remain standing and play for the pass to his teammates. It would make him a more effective player.Chauca had such a shot and it made him more of a scoring threat. If Dunbar can add such a shot to his arsenal,he can become more than just a 'spark" and a full time player for the cougs Otherwise he has great ball handling skills passing ability and play making ability. He has quick hands on defense and becoming stronger will help him keep other PG s from penetrating. He will be a fun player to watch. lets hope he adapts his game quickly and prove that he is player capable of playing well in the PAC 12.
