League poll predicted finish: eighth

Mouhamed Gueye (7.4 PPG), a 6-foot-11 NBA prospect, and Adrame Diongue (No. 43 in the 2022 recruiting class, per ESPN) give Washington State a pair of big bodies capable of protecting the rim for a squad that just needs to find consistent scoring to become a dark horse in the Pac-12 title race.

PAC 12 media poll pundits always stupidly, idiotically always picks WSU 1,2,3,4 spots lower then ESPN, 247, Rivals, Phil Steel, Athlon, the experts, who pick WSU to finish 5,6,7, instead of 8th, like the LAME BRAIN PAC 12 Media Poll.

Picking ASU, who was BAD last year, who LOST A LOT, over WSU was ESPECIALLY BAD.

Most rate the Pac 12 as follows.

1. UCLA

2. Arizona

3. Oregon

4. USC

Then Stanford, Colorado, WSU, as middle of pack, 5,6,7

5. Stanford

6. WSU

7. Colorado

Then Utah, Cal, ASU are a toss up for 7,8,9.

So Utah at 7. 8 is ASU, 9 is CAL.

10. UW

11. Ore St.

PAC 12 Poll putting WSU at 8 is stupid.

And that was before the Texas St game.

After the game.

WSU could tie USC for 4th place, at best, and 5th at average, and 6,7th place at very worst.
