I’m fine with them calling it a completion. He clearly was short of the marker by the time he gained possession. But I doubt they even considered that.
Just when I'm ready to sing the praises of the D they give up 3rd & 8 and 3rd & 14 to WIDE OPEN receivers.

What guy? It was either a pick or a completion short of the first down…one of the two. You got neither. Hence they F’d the whole thing up.
3 and outs and letting Wisconsin grind our defense down was not the recipe for success today. Offense needs to move the chains on the next drive.

A blame the ref guy. We get this all the time. Not new. Gotta take it out of the hands of the refs and stip all excuses. It is BS. Calls are blown in every game, not just Coug games. I get not liking it, but we have a pretty negative feel to our comments, and I think it is a leftover from last week when the team didn't do what we wanted them to. Get over it, new week.
IMO they blew that call. They called the one thing it wasn’t…a catch for a first down. Wasn’t taking about the game we are like 20 plays in.
Keep me posted. I'm without electricity right now and it would be a good game.
