He didn’t miss it short. He’s got plenty of leg for that kick. When you need 3 to tie it’s the right call.

I didn’t watch pregame but he probably made 4 or 5 of them. And he probably hit one from 55

Oh, boy-does this bring back the memories or what. Cougs killed it with the stats, but lose the gave. Of course, there IS that little issue of turnovers......

Well he's our second most accurate kicker in history.

And although he has struggled a bit the past two games, I would trust him more than Cam running around back there on 4th down either getting sacked, run out of bounds, or have a ball batted down

A 47 yarder is not a long field goal for him. Watch his kicks they have distance from 60.

I don’t need too. I’ve watched them. The last three have been wide. The last time he hit anything over 40 yards was against Oregon.

He should not have been kicking. Why are you apologizing for a guy that should not have been on the field? Uncle Rico can throw a ball over them mountains. BFD.

Because as many others have also stated he’s been a reliable kicker for WSU, they needed 3 points, that kick is well within his range, and it was 4th and 6. It’s easy to second guess after the fact. It’s probably a 50/50 call, but certainly not an egregious coaching error. He missed it by what, 6”…a foot? And it had 15 yards of extra distance? You’re acting like 4th and six would have been a sure thing…guess what even if you make it you still have to not fumble before you may have to try another kick anyways. The call was fine. Going for it would have been too.
