I am sure that Jeff Tedford had a lot to do with Haener staying at FSU. Tedford has put serveral QB's in the NFL. The uw coach cannot say that.

I find it interesting that all the UW fans thought a transfer back was a simple process. In order to get accepted back into the portal and not sitting a year, you need to request a waiver, so there were no guarantees. Plus I assume by now Deboer has found there is alumni pressure on making Huard the starter next year. Peterson never really wanted Eason, but he was pressured into signing him, which in turn caused Haener to transfer in the first place, along with others, and created a mess at their QB position.
