Correction: You should MAKE good open threes in Smith's system.Yeah but Noah was quite good a year ago and has faced many problems this season. 38 last year and 19 this year means you should shoot good open 3's in Smith's system.

I don't think shooting 38% for a season is luck but you have to wonder if he put in as much work in the offseason. No idea whether it's true but I remember someone posting on the other board that Noah worked with CJ Elleby when Elleby was preparing for the NBA draft. It wouldn't surprise me if it's also in his head a bit.It would be intersecting to see how he shoots in practice. Was last year lucky? is it in his head this year? Did he not put in the work this off season vs last off season….
They interviewed Flowers after the last game and asked him about his strong shooting performance. He has a pretty simple answer - He put in the time.
There was also little else to do during the 1st year of the pandemic and was probably easier to say focused.I don't think shooting 38% for a season is luck but you have to wonder if he put in as much work in the offseason. Purely speculation here…I was at the Spokane game against the Jack Rabbits and he was obviously sick…wearing a long sleeve under his jersey bundling up on the bench. To his credit he tried to play but probably shouldn’t have. There’s a lot of things you can get that can take your legs away from you for a while. I’ve had the flu and lost 12 lbs. for a guy like Noah who’s pretty lean if it was something like that he probably lost his legs and just hasn’t gotten his shot back.It would be intersecting to see how he shoots in practice. I was at that game too and you are right, he looked like hell. So did Roberts. He hadn’t been shooting lights out before that at all but he’s probably down even more since then.Purely speculation here…I was at the Spokane game against the Jack Rabbits and he was obviously sick…wearing a long sleeve under his jersey bundling up on the bench.
