Ok so I'm in lot 310, wherever the F that is. Probably a ways away, I got a cheap permit. Red Chevy Silverado, Lance camper on top.

If we don't connect pregame, I'm in the nosebleed section 203, row 29, seat 10

I haven't been to an away game in many, many years. Just hope my old truck will get me there from Washington without blowing something out. 175,000 miles, and barely stout enough to handle my camper. Leap of faith.

I’ll be looking for you. My wife was looking for parking a few days ago and I don’t remember what we settled on. It turns out the new stadium is close to the CSU dorm that I stayed in for the concrete canoe national championship back in the day, for whatever that is worth.

OK buddy. Look forward to meeting you. Promise not to hit on your wife :). The rest of the Fort Collins girls, no such promises.

For some reason Loyal, I pictured you in a white van

I used to have a Silverado but the AFM lifters crapped out for the second time and I didn't want to buy another Chevy after getting the $8000 bill. Went to the dark side and bought a 2022 F-150.

Beautiful looking truck Flattie, but they call 'em Found On Road Dead for a reason ;)

Did you look at a Dodge Ram?

Great reviews from reputable sources

I know that the new Ram's are a lot better than the older ones, but I drove a couple different Ram pickups in the 90's for work and they were objectively junk. I had a co-worker who owned a 2005 Big Horn and my brother-in-law had a 2006 3/4 ton and they were both rust buckets that had visible rust issues before 2010. So, my relationship with MOPAR is not good and I didn't look at the new Dodges.

I did test drive a 2022 Toyota Tundra and it was pretty decent, but the Ford was more powerful and drove better. The Ford also has a flat deck on the floor in the back of the cab, so you can haul a lot of stuff inside if necessary. The Toyota had a cheap plastic storage bin under the seats that would be in the way. I also hated that the Toyota mirror was actually a camera and not a mirror.

I also considered a used 2021 Silverado with the 5.3L because they had disabled the AFM system in 2021 due to the chip shortages that they were experiencing. That said, getting a pair of bills with a combined cost of $12,500 meant that I was not excited about Chevrolet and decided to go the the "Fix Or Repair Daily" brand.

The Ford has the 3.5L turbo six and is ridiculously powerful and I could chip tune it to 500 horsepower if I were so inclined. It came with the trailer package and has a 2200 lb rear payload capacity along with 11,500 lb towing capacity. I'm liking it more than I thought I would but the fact that it came with a lifetime powertrain warranty from the dealer was a bonus that made me feel better.

You did your homework sir!

It also helped that my truck is kind of a unicorn. It's a loaded XLT that MSRP'd at around $62k. For a few grand more, you are getting into Lariat range. So...too many options and too much cost for the people that want to save money on an XLT but not nice enough for someone willing to spend Lariat money. As a result, it sat on the dealer's lot for 270 days by the time I looked at it. Got it "new" with 55 miles on it in May of this year for around $7500 off MSRP. Still a crapton of money for a truck, but I drove my last one for almost 15 years so I figure that if I lose $30k, it's only a couple thousand per year kick in the nuts. And again, lifetime powertrain warranty was part of the deal.

My only problem with the Rams I've ridden in recently is that the cabin noise seems to me to be more than in a C or F brand.

What I'm finding with our truck/van fleet is that the auto transmissions have become the "programmed obsolescence" item for all of them. May as well sell them with a spare tranny if you keep them to 125 K miles; you will use it at some point...we don't have any Rams, but we have a lot of both C and F, and the transmissions for both are junk.

Now that I own one....it's First On Race Day!

Also used to be called "Fuggin' Old Rebuilt Dodge"
Fing over rated Dodge. Subaru cars and Chevy trucks is all I will ever own. Although I will keep the ones I have until I die. Only 213,000 miles on my Subaru Legacy, just getting broken in.

My ex would say "first on race day" Blah on that.

Although I used to have a '69 Mercury Cougar with the 350? Windsor in it. Until I ran it into a tree on a drunk Pullman night.

Of course.....since I'm boring...here are pictures of my crimson Acura TLX A-Spec that I bought a couple years ago. Hadn't owned a crimson car in 19 years and bought two in a row.

I just like showing off my crimson colored cars? I have a buddy with an M4 and another with a Mercedes AMG CLS. My vehicles are boring, weak sauce compared to what some people drive.

I just have a black 2020 Silverado RST but I do ride a black 2022 Harley Road Glide Special. That's about the most excitement I have to offer. They both have Coug plates which goes very will with the black.

There was an amazing looking crimson Silverado RST at the dealer when they diagnosed my truck with a failed lifter. I asked them if they would give me full price on my trade-in if I bought the RST on the spot and they said that they couldn't.

Harleys. Talk about fix and repair daily. I bought a 1977 Yamaha XS750 triple 2 years ago. Would blow any Harley off the road. When I was young I had the 850 successor. Vetter fairing. That bike would do 50 in first gear. Sold it to buy a Toyota Tercel when I married number 1. Have regretted it every day for 40 years.

My wife said that she looked at Lot 310 but we ended up getting a parking pass in Lot 245....opposite side of the stadium. LOL. Looks like you'll have to let me buy you a beer inside the stadium.

I'm not interested in blowing the doors of cars or racing on highways. I'll pass on the death on two wheels. I have upgraded the power for better throttle response (electronic throttle) and passing power. Harley's for the most part are definitely better built but they are still pumping out pushrod, air-cooled motors for the big v-twins. I look forward to when they finally catch up to the 21st century.

Ho hum main vehicle is my 4th Toyota Highlander. About 18 months ago I bought a 2021 Silverado Z71 with 5,000 miles on it. Cost more than my first house, of course. Has the big 6.6 diesel engine for good towing with the Allison 10 speed transmission. Black, crew cab, with full size bed. Turning radius is about 300'!

Had checked with several of the car club guys for recommendations for full size trucks for towing and the consensus was to go with GMC. Silverado is basically the same thing as GMC and available with the features I wanted so just went for it.

Won't get into the classic cars for now.

My buddy has 1972 RoadRunner 440 he is willing to sell me for what could be considered relatively cheap $15-$20k. I am seriously considering it but not sure if I should. Car is pretty flawless outside of a pretty deep scratch/dent in the lower passenger door. Disc brakes and an EFI conversion..... He says its pushing nearly 500hp which is believable based on his current occupation. The main hesitation I have is that I am really not a Mopar guy.

Go Cougs (thought about getting this thing but probably going a different direction).

Funny thing is I love crimson for obvious reasons but just can't pull the trigger on a red car. Evokes this dude to me when I think of who drives around a red sports car.

I'm surprised that you found my picture so quickly.

I used Flickr.
Okay here's my Flickr test. Interesting, as I've been using Flickr since the beginning of time.

Testing one, two three....

So I grab a random photo of the Palouse on Flickr, and copy the URL. It gives me the photographer's entire camera roll. How do I just copy one image?

I uploaded a bunch of photos to my photostream on Flickr. Then I open an individual photo from that and hit the "share" button. Right click and copy the url that is in the "Embed" part of the sharing. Start a new thread here and hit the "Insert Link" button on the editing tools and paste the URL. Hit enter and it puts the picture and some other text. I delete the extra text and post the message.....resulting picture of my old Silverado that I traded in for my F-150 below.

I did exactly that...but it would also include a Right Arrow for several photos.....and I only want to copy and past, (share and embed) just one image.

MI you can also use Google Drive which is what I do

I'll make a folder, upload a pic there, then make in shareable and that will give you a link to that particular photo.

Then either click the link or the image icon(I can't remember which one...only one of the options work) and you are all set
