For those who would like to donate, Rutgers Football has a program where people can buy discount $35tickets for the Washington State vs. Rutgers game and have them donated to Veterans and current military personnel. For tickets and more information, call the Rutgers ticket office Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00 Eastern time at 866-445-4678.

I'm on this right now. Thanks HeavenU… Great program and a great way to honor our service members, past and present! HINT, HINT, Mr. Moos!!!!

WSU does this every year as well, Coug95 (Armed Services Appreciation Day). I'd prefer to donate in this manner with the ticket sale going to WSU, not Rutgers, but hey, that's just me.

I was unaware WSU did this but no offense... On this issue I will always have a soft spot for personal reasons. I will investigate WSU's program as well and donate 2 tickets for whatever game that is, as well. But ultimately for me, it isn't about the school on this one.

Makes sense. By the way, I'm not completely sure WSU does this every year, although I believe it does (it has an "Armed Forces Appreciation Day" every year, but I'm not certain about the formalized ability to donate tickets being every year). I've heard people talking about it several times on the boards and otherwise, but the only clear information I'm finding about it right now is from back in 2010.

Thanks for the clarification. I haven't even been able to find the 2010 reference to a game so you are further along than I. I'll definitely keep my eyes open for this kind of thing at WSU.
