According to Gabe DeArmond of PowerMizzou.com, the Missouri Rivals website, former Washington State signee Tramaine Isabell has committed and signed with Missouri.

It appears the Seattle, Wash., point guard, who committed to the Cougars about a year ago under then-head coach Ken Bone, has qualified academically and could be in line for early playing time with the Tigers. Isabell was also considering Providence but a recent visit to Missouri sealed the deal for the three-star guard.

some had rumored it was an offcourt issue that left Kent and Isabel parting ways. Who knows.. whatever it was, both sides handled it quietly, quickly and with class, then moved on.

I guess that we will see how things turn out for the guy. If there are serious off the court issues, then they will surface next year. I wish him luck and hope that he does well.

Source(s)? There's been considerable speculation on this. Non-qualifiers sign LOIs all the time, so this signing in and of itself means very little. Great for him if he's qualified, though. Best of luck to him.

I'm just going off of what DeArmond is reporting based on his conversation with Isabell. I guess we'll find out sooner or later, as Isabell says he's going to leave for Columbia "early next week." If he does, that would most likely confirm that he's qualified.

But is this just an official, all-expenses-paid-for visit?

I never said that Isabell, would be a 1 and done. I said he would probably have the potential to be a NBA prospect, and had potentional to possibly goto NBA, after sophmore, junior season, but that going to the NBA after his senior season would be more probable then going earlier. I also said that he had the potential at the extreme, ultimate, to possibly be a 1 and done, at extreme, ultimate, best case. I did not go running around garanteeing, saying he would be 1 and done.

I also said that he would probably go about as about the 20+ pick, in the first round of draft, and that he would go no lower then top pick of 2nd round of
draft.

Missouri, and Auburn, Bruce Pearl, all from SEC, both wanted Isabell.

If Isabell hadnt committed, signed LOI with cougs, he would have had so many offers, from all the best bball programs.

Kent made a big mistake in trying to get all 3, Isabell, Rorie, Nye, when Isabell, Nye would have been enough. It was that mistake by Kent that made Isabell, want to leave, instead of staying.

Like I said before, Oh Well, it is what it is. Good luck to Isabell, but I am not going to be a missouri fan.

Idiot comment wulfbone.

I need to keep up!

It would be interesting to know why Kent decided to part ways with Isabell. He has talent and his strength is an impressive part of his ability. If he plays, he will help the Tigers this season.I am sure that posters will be watching to see how he performs both athletically and scholastically during the next year.
