The Washington State women extended their remarkable run at the Pac-12 Conference tournament by beating No. 20 Colorado 61-49 and advancing to the title game for the first time.

This is what you get with a good staff, people who have been in the program for a long time, leadership from the long-timers, and a bend but don't break attitude. Pretty much everybody is healthy headed into the home stretch, they have momentum...and they are not afraid of or intimidated by anyone. To top it off they won't have to play Stanford, who is the only PAC team that might give them some jitters. I suspect that coach's message will be to simply play our game and make them beat us. I like our chances tomorrow.

If I am not mistaken, 3 of the last 4 wins were against top 20 teams. UCLA #17, Utah#3, Colorado #20.

…and for that plus the rest of the season we are still considered an 8-seed. I’m hoping the experts are undervaluing us a bit. All things considered I think we are 6-seed.

Plus, UT and CO were more rested, as the Cougs were playing back to back vs UT's first game and were playing back to back to back vs CO's second game in a row. That matters.
