Looks like it might be down to Us and the Beavs

They sell it to FSU and Clemson as some new incentive money or something. Sounds like it might happen.

Logistically, makes ZERO sense....but it's either fly across the country every other week, or play with Fresno St.

This is good right? We still trusting the narrative that the B12 may take a second look if WSU and OSU control the P12 $$ and rights.

Publicly, Yomark has stated B12 is done. But as we all know those often mean nothing. So are they still considering the idea of us with production capital….probably. Only chance is if Stan and Cal disappear.

the value of the production assets is being disputed on twitter by Bob Thompson....he thinks there is none.

Bob Thompson is the former head of Fox Sports, that Wilner and Canzano have been sourcing the past 12 months.

This guy sucks, and did you see how accurate the two guys he was feeding info to were? Big12 wants production capability to produce STREAMABLE content under its own authority and sell it to companies like Amazon, and Max. The infrastructure is already in place and the physical capital exists. To Fox it’s worth whatever it’s worth, to Big12 it’s worth whatever potential there is in streaming games + the $ it takes to plan, staff, and build a production network.

Some companies take over other ones to shut them down, others do it to assimilate and build the business. Yes, Fox has no use for another production studio, but a conference about to get into selling their own content….They aren’t worried what comcast or anyone would do cause it’s not going onto TV.

Looking on Twitter or X or whatever and not finding anything concrete...

You have Notre Dame, George Bush, and Condoleeza Rice pushing for this. None of these have any future stakes in how well the ACC members fare. Why do they get any voice? Well George wants SMU in a power league. Condeleeza wants Stanford to have a spot. Notre Dame wants to keep the ACC alive, so they can stay independent, but also gets to use the ACC to play big names.

Because Notre Dame is "special".
