Looks like we dodged a bullet with Vigen

Silly comment. They played the best program in the history of FCS ball and made some great halftime adjustments. Just couldn't get off the field on defense.

Watched most of the game, good comeback in the 2nd half,. I think he's a good coach, but I question his decision just before the half, they have a 4th and about 5 on the Bison 45. There is about 1:30 left on the clock. He elects to go for it, which I didn't have a huge problem with, it was the play call I had a problem with, a short 5-8 yard route to get the first down would have made some sense. However, the QB drops back and they are looking for an intermediate route. Pass is incomplete, the Bisons take over on the 45, and go on to get a TD just before the half and that was the difference in the game. A punt would have been the wiser choice if you didn't have a play that had at least an 80% chance of making the first down.

Dudes getting his lunch handed to him, obviously a hack and can't coach worth a lick.
NDSU is a dynasty in the FCS with winning something like 10-11 national championships in the last 15 years. In fact it could be said they are the most successful team in all of college football during that time period so they are hard to beat. MSU made a good comeback and made a game of it but losing to MDSU does not mean Vigen is a bad coach.
