It was a rout from the opening tip. Cougs never got closer than 21 pts in 2H.

I did not see the game. However the stats indicate that Flynn got schooled and suffered a freshman moment. Since he has been the leader,the cougs could never get going.

Reid Travis was back and their PG Cartwright started for the first time since last season. I watched at times but it was basically a shooting drill in the first half for Stanford. Ike played with a lot of energy. Only player I would single out as a positive. We were drilled.

Didn't we bring EK in for his recruiting abilities? I never though he was much of an X's and O's guy since he basically just let his UO team go out and play street ball and hoist 3's.

So in two years he's taken us to Paul Graham levels with his recruiting?

I'm not trying to use hyperbole - look at where the talent is trending; its not good.

Need a major infusion of 4 year talent. All of these JC's are killing us especially when they come and go like King.

Other than the great shooting, Stanford was much quicker and more athletic in general. It's a good thing we beat UW and the beavs. We might not win another game.

The cougs will win some home games They will be outclassed by UCLA but have some good chances to win a few more games
