Nonsense AG probably will never see an NFL field AG has none of the required intangibles or leadership skills
AG is interesting. He has a crazy quick release and makes some ridiculous throws. He also has happy feet and bails out of the pocket way too much. Minshew is/was a much safer NFL prospect than Gordon but with the right coaching Gordon might have a higher ceiling. And I happen to agree that Gordon’s leadership/intangibles don’t and probably won’t ever be close to Minshews.Nonsense AG probably will never see an NFL field AG has none of the required intangibles or leadership skills
Minshew's major flaw is the SNOW!Part of Minshew's magic is knowing when to throw it away vs hit his 3rd/4th read vs tuck it and run. He can make a designed play work and he's equally magic improv-ing. Also did not take loads of bad sacks for us (not that AG did - point is, Minshew has no major flaw).
AG by contrast is generally lost if 1-2 aren't open and has bad habits that he falls back on after that: biases right, leaves the pocket whether there is pressure or not, boots in the same U pattern. The play is more scripted for him than it is with Minshew who is able to use chaos to his advantage

You said the same thing about Falk and yet he actually started a couple of NFL games. I'm thinking you don't want AG to play in the NFL and I'm not sure you wanted Falk to play either. You would rather be right about both guys than see them achieve the goal of reaching the next level. Fair enough. But as a Cougar fan, I'd like to see as many WSU players as possible play pro ball, including Gordon. It's good for the school and good for the player. Maybe Gordon won't make it but most of us are rooting for the guy, even if you aren't.Nonsense AG probably will never see an NFL field AG has none of the required intangibles or leadership skills
Not sure to what degree this is satire, but we were a Dodge Viper winning drag races under Minshew. Then it rains and we're racing corners at Nurburgring, we get smoked, and fans are embarrassed to admit we're not built for slalom in inclement weather? I don't get it. We're a one-trick pony but we're very good at that trick. Give us a dome and we win that year, even if no other year.Minshew's major flaw is the SNOW!
C'mon man!
Good luck with that. Things don’t get any slower in the NFL and Gordon has developed that bad habit over the course of a lot of snaps.Almost every coach will take the arm and the arm talent and say they can coach out the happy feet.

Glad Cougar
I also don't disagree with ElC - broken clock and all that. The guy just lasers in on QBs as the source of all team woes whether it's true or not. Having said that, I don't see the NFL clamoring for him except as a worst-case insurance policy. Sorry if WSU homers don't like that.ElC is obviously a guy who has some strange opinions about quarterbacks.....but I can't fault him on his opinion of Anthony Gordon's NFL prospects. Gordon is the perfect example of a "system QB" and I can't imagine him being successful in the NFL. I'll root for him to prove me wrong of course.
You named a Heisman winner (that played in a read option offense) a college wide receiver, and an NFL washout as your examples? Ok.See MArcus Marriota. Ryan Tanneahill, Jake Locker just to name a few.
