Penix has 185 yards and 2 INTs. That kind of game makes a speed bump in a heisman campaign.
I vowed to never watch uw again but then I saw they were losing so couldn’t resist.

Yep...and that was twice. UW was tugging on the jersey on all deep balls. That one was the most blatant.

You nailed it. There is only two possible explanations for not calling that pass interference- either the officials are totally and completely incompetent or they are totally and completely corrupt. Well, maybe there are three possible explanations- they are totally and completely incompetent AND corrupt. Seriously, could it be any more obvious? And you are correct when you say that the uw DB's were getting away with murder on several other obvious ASU passes.
PAC 12 officials have sucked for a LONG time, and apparently they are incapable of improvement. Perhaps next year they can get jobs doing Whitworth games, or CA JC league. Pathetic. ASU got absolutely effed out of a road victory in mutt stadium.
I would also like to point out the there was a play that should have been reviewed for targeting on that same series. Scattebo was being tackled and was falling forward towards out of bounds (so was a defenseless player), when a second mutt player comes flying in (meaning he launched himself) and nails Scattebo right in the side of the helmet (think Minshew at usc effect). Sadly the officials AND the broadcast crew totally missed that. That would have been the first down, right there. Bunch of focking idiots!!!

And yes, that last PI, not only did he grab his jersey, he yanked it away from his body for all to see.
I think there is corruption going on. Seen it too many times. Just gotta follow the money.

Refs should have to do a press conference after the game too. With video. Question, who threw the flag and why? Question who picked up the flag and why? If there were real accountability there’s a chance some of this nonsense would stop.
I see 3 penalties on those 2 plays:
- Defensive holding by the DB covering the receiver, before the ball is on the way
- Pass interference on the same guy, once the ball is in the air
- Illegal block in the back at about the 30 on the INT return
And that’s just for starters.
Which seems weird. The team that put the biggest nail in the coffin they favor. They really seem to be out to get us and OSU.
Not surprising at all. NCAA wants to make money/noise. Most attention/viewership possible.
Little guys in little markets don't do any of that.
