QB Joe Burrow has 3 relatives who played for Nebraska, AND coming out of high school, he was Mr. Football in Ohio. Despite all of that, the Huskers never offered him. LOL, well done.

And if I heard the story correctly, he was interested in transferring from Ohio State to Nebraska but Frost didn't think he was an upgrade from what was already on the Husker roster, so Joe went to LSU.

Oops.

ps....good to see Jimmy Burrow tonight as well. He must've been a really young assistant when he was at WSU with Walden.

Jim Walden turned 82 years young a couple weeks ago.

(That's just two years older than Nancy Pelosi)

Nancy Pelosi's brother died in October at the age of 90.
Oh, c’mon. It was sarcasm.

My fraternal grandfather and grandmother made it to 89 and 94, respectively. My maternal side was cut short by a car crash when they were in their 60s.

I know old people. It was a joke.

President John Tyler (as of last August) still has two grandsons alive.

I’m convinced if we saw Pelosi without make-up... we would have finally solved what happened to Jimmy Hoffa

I didn't doubt you, but had to look it up myself to see how that was possible when President Tyler was born in the 1700s. This is what happens when old coots end up finding a young trophy wife. There's also a woman still alive who is receiving a Civil War pension because her father fought in that war. Incredible stuff.

I was just watching the ‘82 Apple Cup on YT tonight, reading up on staff, players, etc, and noted this tidbit. It surprising, he got his masters at WSU. Small world!

Reminds me of another tidbit. Jack Elway was a player and an assistant at WSU. But smaller world, his father (John E’s grandfather) ran a shop in my father’s hometown of Aberdeen, where Jack was born. My dad mentioned going there plenty of times. And of course, Jack is a Coug.
