Neutral site games

Sounds like that might be for "Olympic sports."

That said, I think a future ACC west invite should be on our wish list. Stan/Cal aren't going to want to be left out here alone. The ACC commish said they are now a national conference.

As though one of those games in Dallas would sell tons of tickets...or enable the bulk of either team's fans to attend...

Roses, you are completely correct.

They should hold all Olympic sports, where ’Furd or Cal are “home” team in Dallas,to save travel.. As long as their bending over, why not?

Reading more of the article, it sounds like that’s exactly what they’re talking about. SMH

Love the comment about how wise PAC 12 leadership sounds every time they open their mouth.

Great for recruiting.” For away game we go to the east coast, for home games we “ get” to go to Dallas”.

Weren't Cal and Stanford refusing to travel to Texas not all that long ago? I know there was a state restriction on travel that would have applied to Cal -- unsure if it remains in effect -- but I thought they also just had some kind of policy on that aside from the California travel restrictions imposed by the state.

Not without doing due dillegence
I think the biggest piece of that is figuring out if there’s a payday from the collapse of the conference and if so, how big. Divvying up the assets between us and OSU could be the best shot for both of us to pay off existing debt.

If we don’t end up with something from that, the direct financial consequences of the decreased revenue from moving to the MWC will be a serious issue.

Even if the assets and final leavings are only $40-50M, split between us and OSU that’s going to be 4-5 years (or more) worth of MWC media payout. And $40-50M is less than the lowest estimate I’ve seen. I think Wilner said up to $450M. Anything that gives WSU a payout greater than 80M…probably makes more sense to take the 1-time money and not make any moves until August 2.
