Australia does produce great punters. Don't know anything about him, but he could turn out to be a weapon if he is as accurate placing the ball that many Australian punters are. Welcome to WSU.

Australian Rules players have already revolutionized the punt game, much like soccer players did with place kicking. If you can't pass and place, accurately, what essentially is a smaller rugby ball, you don't play. The bad call would be to ignore it and sign another traditional "spiral" kicker or an Australian Rules imitator and get the inconsistency and lack of accuracy associated therewith.
