Non conference schedule next 4 years

I was pleasantly surprised by the crowd, but the weather conditions were incredible, so that no doubt helped. It was a beautiful day in Pullman. I think the perfect start time would have been a couple hours earlier...if I wanted to nitpick (but realize that TV determines this...and 5:30pm kickoff is not bad at all).

I still think too many people left at halftime. I'd estimate it at 3,000 or so...but I could be off by a 1,000. I was facing the north side, so I couldn't tell you how many south siders left.

It was a great evening for a game, and even if some were disappointed we didn't throttle Wyoming (which I thought we would), we won and that is the key to me at this point.

Surprised me that opposing running backs are still getting around the edge and I'm not expert enough to understand why we cannot really address that. Makes me very leery of what Pac-12 teams will do with much more talent than PSU and Wyoming.

Happen, can't find anything to disagree with in your post. Beautiful weather and a good crowd. A few left at halftime but not many. I suppose that a few defectors is to be expected but I don't know why. Great evening, close game- why leave?

As far as the defense goes, I am with you, including the lack of expertise. We are still weak at containing the edge of the O-line. Tackling still needs an upgrade. Contain the edge and improve tackling skills and we could be a decent rushing defense maybe even a good one. If not, option teams are going to destroy us.

I left at halftime but came back in time for the 3rd quarter kick. Just about everyone around me was still there in the 2nd half.

With all due respect, if you honestly believe that beating any of those teams would not have a more positive impact on this program than beating Idaho, I guess we will agree to disagree.

If you also believe coverage by the NY media leading up to and after the Rutgers game had the same impact as playing Idaho or Eastern, well you are certainly entitled to your opinion.

The Wyoming game was only carried in Washington State, didn't even make the Portland market. I believe it may have been the only conference game to have such limited coverage, no broader regional or national coverage.
not true, I am in the Portland market and it was broadcast on pac 12 network
