It happens. Just last week the 7-1 NO Saints got blown out at home by the 1-7 Atlanta Falcons. There is a reason why there is a long season, in any game, anything can happen. Besides, how a team plays in the first game may not be how well a team plays in the last game of the season. I am a soccer fan and I just saw Seattle beat LAFC in the playoffs despite never beating them in the regular season. It happens. We're assuming Auburn is a good team who should have lost to Oregon.
In fact, Auburn has lost every challenge this year: Florida, LSU and now Georgia, and they should have dropped Oregon. IE Oregon lost to a hugely overrated team.

Not at all. Oregon was the better team against Auburn. Just because they lost that game does not mean that they would do terrible in the playoffs should they make it that far.I think “it can happen” is a different point
Man that throw from Mills that Woods picked off is about the worst decision I've seen from a QB all year. Nobody in his face, chucks it at like 4 defenders
Gordon's was bad. Mills was worseOther than Gordon's pick anyway.
You are what your record says you are, and Oregon’s record makes them a good - not great - team. Add to that losing against an Auburn team that has failed every challenge it’s been given. My position is they will probably get chewed up. Yours is that the opposite is possible. I don’t dispute that but it’s also a fairly meaningless and safe provision to makeNot at all. Only blocking on KO return. Calvin Jackson Jr. got the #2 reps at X.Has Fisher played in this game?
I watched the Washington Nationals win the World Series despite having a very slow start to the season and with several teams having a better record. I saw the Sounders win MLS cup despite several teams having a better record and playing mediocre for a long stretch in the middle of the season. You are what your record says you are, and Oregon’s record makes them a good - not great - team. OK. We’re in an endurance race now so this is me bowing outI watched the Washington Nationals win the World Series with several teams having a better record. I saw the Sounders win MLS cup despite several teams having a better record.
There are three undefeated teams. Georgia won today, but they almost choked the game away. Alabama? They lost at home and their QB is likely done for the season. If Oregon does win out, they would be 12-1 with a win over an equally good Utah team and would have won 12 games in a row. By any measure, that is impressive.
