That pass that should have been picked was a worse play. Should have been an easy back shoulder throw to Ollie for about 20.
De Laura has the it factor. You can clearly see the change in energy and confidence in the offense.
Yeah the presence is a factor, but quarterback scrambling shouldn't be the biggest source of yardage we have
I agree. The play calling leaves a bit to be desired in my opinion. But he is confident, progressing through reads and getting yardage where he can. The entire look and feel of the offense immediately changed…
Gonna have to go to bed back here in the Midwest. This game is making my eyelids heavy. 5-3 score right now? Hope Cougs at least send the game into extra innings.

I think a big part of it is what they are being asked to do… We need to make adjustments to combat all of the stunting. We are pulling and they are shooting right through those gaps..
The whole concept of waiting until the game day to name the starter is maybe ok for JV high school, but pretty bush league for college. It seems like there are dozens of mind games going on the field, in parallel to the idiotic vaccine issue off the field. We just seem confused. Just put your 11 best players on the grass and play. How many more days until this fool is fired?
I think it was more about punishment then who the better QB was… Either that or our coach is a dipshit. It took all of 1 series to see who should be playing
Problems I have:
Realizing that Utah state D has a lot of movement, we have zero blocking at the second level. The OL has little awareness and doesn’t know who to block unless someone is lined up on them.

Our formations tip our hand too much. If the RB is beside the QB, we’re not running.

nope. squib kicking up 6-5 is straight loser. Kick it deep and field a KO team. This doesn't bode well, Mark my words.
I watched the UCLA/LSU game. I cannot imagine how excited defensive coordinators are going to be looking at our offensive line after seeing this
I didn’t mind that kick. They targeted and executed the kick to a lineman.
