You have got to be kidding me. A QB who last played in 2010, and a WR who played in 2004, wanting in on the NIL settlement cash. Which is ridiculous in the first place.

Since the court ruling came well after their careers were over, I don't think they've got much of a claim. There's one thing that gives it some credence: if the school and the networks are still showing replays of their highlights now (and any time they've showed those since the decision), they might be due a little bit of compensation from that. But they'll have to get a court to say the initial 4-year statute of limitations doesn't apply.

In the meantime, it's simple - every network has to stop showing replays of anything that happened before 2020.
 
Starting to sound like NIL reparations, next will be an NIL suit which denied the opportunity for generational wealth.
