Definitely. The guys tonight played their asses off. Shorthanded, limited backups, abandoned by their coaches and administration, but they came out and put in the effort.

The OC mixed things up well, they used PA. Helps the OLine tremendously when you have someone who knows how to play call to keep a defense off balance. Arbuckle sucks at that which contributes to the OLine sucking.

I have never liked the rolling a QB out to his non throwing side. That and maybe that bunch(4 we) screen on 3rd and long were his only bad calls.

I thought he did a heck of a job.

The offense had more rhythm.

It was a much better performance than having Mateer bailed us out all the time.

Two things...Syracuse must not have any film on our offense. Why would any team use a four man line against us is beyond me. Rush 3, drop 8. That is the formula for shutting us either out or at least down.
