Looking at Northwestern's schedule and W-L record, I can't comprehend why it's ranked in the CFP top 25.

LSU also lost its last game of the year to a team ranked worse than the one WSU lost to and they also have an extra loss and they are still ahead of WSU.

Because they are division leaders. Pitt was ranked and they lost to North Carolina. Cal, Stanford, Oregon are all better than Pitt and NW.
 
I didn't realize that two of Florida's nine wins were against FCS schools: a horrible Idaho team and Charleston Southern. Add to that, the Gators were crushed at home by Missouri.

They also beat Colorado State (who lost to Wyoming). They are getting credit for beating Miss St and LSU.
 
I thought you could only count one FCS game? Doesn't this mean that Florida is actually only 8-3?
