All these analysts miss the main point of Coach Smith. He likes to have two Guards on the floor that can handle the ball and that can score. He recruits not pure PG's but combo guards who can get the ball up the court.
Appears currently that is Yesufu and Rice.
The only problems with that is if Yesufu, Rice, start the 1,2 spots, that pushes Kymany to LOGJAM the 3 spot with Wells, Jabe, Kymany, Jaki at 3 spot.
And also then who would back up at PG?
Not Kymany. He can't shoot it from outside, and not an assist guy.
Not Jabe. he is a decent ok, semi ok assist guy, but his defense SUCKS at the 1,2 spots, pushing him to 3 spot, and playing back up minutes at 2 spot.
Maybe Darling. But Darling is ERRATIC, couldn't even hit the ocean if he aimed at it. And certainly has struggled with his outside shot. He is ok at passing, assist, but his assist to turnover ratio is EXTREMELY BAD.
If Darling can back up at at PG, or if Jabe can improve his defense, and play back up minutes at PG, or if Kymany can shoot from outside, then Kymany could play minutes at PG(But problem with that, is if he develops a outside shot, he is more needed at 2 spot), if somebody can back up at PG, and if Rice is able to then Yesufu and Rice can play at the 1,2 spots.
I still think the best option is for Yesufu to play PG, with Rice as back up PG playing somewhere between some to semi lot of PG minutes behind Yesufu, and playing back up minutes at 2 spot if Darling can back up at PG, and with either Kymany developing a outside shot and playing, starting the 2 spot, or Jabe improving his 2 spot defense, and driving more and playing, starting the 2 spot.
