I had the flu then watched Fox News. I was cured!! I was left wondering why everyone around me was sicker than hell.

There has been a EXTREMELY LOW death toll in UK, South Africa, and extremely low hospitalizations. Almost no deaths, hospitalizations in UK, South Africa, despite a LOT of cases.
Health Officials in UK, and South Africa, said that it was the most infectious, that everybody in world will probably get it, but that it was comparable to FLU, etc, not deadly, won't hospitalized, etc.
At 2000 deaths a day, that would make it so deadly, that every poster here, posting that they got Omicron should be hospitalized, dying, instead of everyone reporting cold/flu symptoms, and at 2000 a day, that's a pace that would exceed the 600k dead of 2019/2020 year/12 months.
That not BLOODY DAMN LIKELY what is going on.
What's bloody damn likely going on is either the misreporting of news, or misreporting, saying that those that terminally ill, died of car wrecks, etc, had Omicron in them, and we're wrongly reported as Omicron deaths.
Omicron is so Contagious, combined with the bad reporting, bad death counting, bad hospitalization counting, that easily the vast majority of so called Omicron deaths, could easily have the cause of death, cause of hospitalization be something else, and that something else besides, instead of Omicron killed them, and that they just had a mild case of Omicron, at the time that something else, instead of Omicron killed them. That could easily be the case. That or the news, etc, is either lying, making mistakes, misrepresenting, etc
And that has happened before.
It's not CONSISTENT, NOT LOGICAL, ETC, that Omicron would kill thousands a day, but hardly kill anyone in UK, South Africa

Out of the hundreds, thousands of people I know, NONE have been hospitalized, Killed by Omicron. That's ILLOGICALLY INCONSISTENT with Omicron, supposedly killing thousands a day.
And if Omicron was hospitalizing and killing thousands a day, the HOSPITALS would be OVERFLOWING. But Sacred Heart, and Davenport Hospital WA, have been either almost empty(Davenport Hospital), an or semi lots of open rooms, open ICU(about 3 to 6 to 9 open rooms/ICU's, an or wouldnt have so few Omicron/Covid patients, and they would be sending all the OVERFLOW of Omicron/Covid patients to the almost empty Davenport Hospital, and Davenport Hospital wouldn't be almost empty, most of the time.
That's ILLOGICALLY INCONSISTENT with Omicron supposedly killing thousands a day.
And if all that is just Coincidence, if it's just Coincidence that Omicron is not hospitalizing, killing lots of those on this board, an in the church I goto, and out of hundreds, that I know, and that area hospitals are not being overflowed by Omicron, despite Omicron supposedly killings thousands a day, etc, then coincidence can only go so far, before it's not coincidence, and that Omicron is LOGICALLY Probably not supposedly killing thousands a day.
Omicron is not killing 2000 a day. Either they are miscounting, or misrepresenting, or lies, or mistakes, or the old variants of Covid are making a comeback in other parts of the USA, or its a even newer strain then Omicron, in other parts in the USA.
At extreme most, it's only a problem in other parts of USA, an or in Seattle, because it's not a problem in Tri Cities, Spokane, Central, Eastern WA.
And it's not a problem in UK, South Africa, Australia.
Also show your source that says 2000 a day are dying now.
But even if you show a source that says that, I doubt it, for all the reasons I explained above.

So because of that it still would only be about a .07% to .13% of 1% ultimate extremely low Mortality Rate, which would be almost NOTHING.
Omicron Covid is here to stay FOREVER. Can't or Shouldn't make a big deal out of it. Everybody in the world will get it, mayb even multiple times.

The Omicron Vaccines, Mask, Social distancing, etc, will be like the FLU vaccines, etc, and only about 7% to 13% to 27% to 43% effective, and only effective for those at high risk of getting Omicron, getting hospitalized, killed by Omicron.
If those at high risk are not careful, don't vax, wear mask, wash hands, etc, they can, will be hospitalized, killed by Omicron the same way that elderly that don't vax, etc, can die of FLU.
Kids Ages 3 to 18 only have .00004% of 1% mortality rate, have better chance of getting hit by lightning then being hospitalized, dying of Omicron.
HEALTHY Adults ages 18 to 59 that don't have risk factors, also will have a EXTREMELY LOW Omicron hospitalization, death rates.
Omicron is NOTHING.
Can't, shouldnt shut down, lockdown, cancel everything, mandate, force everything like Vaccinations, Boosters, Mask, social distancing, etc, FOREVER.
At some point have to go back to normal, as Omicron/Covid will be here FOREVER.
Also at some point Herd/Natural Immunity will gradually, eventually be reached.
It's time to go back to normal, it's time to LIVE with Omicron/Covid, and it's NOTHING now.

Umm doesn't mean their immune system isn't compromised from said comorbidities meaning they'd die from the flu or a cold.

Except the vaccine kills your immune system. Hence the reason why vaccinated still get covid, have symptoms, and spread it. It's also why you need a booster.

First, I am sick and tired of all of the overhyping of COVID.
That said, I know a lot of people who have died in the past two years from COVID that hadn't died from their co-morbidities before that. It's lazy to blame everything on COVID but it's just as lazy....and more dangerous.......to pretend that COVID isn't killing anyone and that nobody would be dead if not for the co-morbidities.
I've lost track of how many people that I know that either died of COVID or lost a family member to COVID in the past years but it's into the double digits now. I know that I'm getting old, but I didn't have that many funerals to attend prior to January 2020.
Its too bad Covid has simply become a political football, because it would be a great opportunity to explore how unhealthy the world has become in terms of diet and exercise. It would be interesting to me to see a "healthier" nation and what their mortality rate vs comorbidities is.

Agree completely. We just had our 2022 "Wellness" presentation from our corporate Wellness people and if everyone actually tried to follow their programs and advice, we'd see much lower hospitalization costs and cheaper insurance. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen and big pharma is the beneficiary.
A serious question… can you name a pandemic or disease that has been halted by something other than pharma? All the stuff we are vaccinated for before we are five, has there been alternatives to stop or stymie the disease ?
I know that you weren't asking me, but I'll throw out my two cents. Obviously, we need pharmaceutical companies and many of the drugs they make are amazing. However, it's also obvious that COVID mortality rates were high because the virus was pretty effective at killing people who already had issues. COVID was always to be a big deal, but if it proved to be less lethal than the flu initially, it would have been easier to let nature do its thing. Instead, it was killing people at very high rates if they fell within certain categories.
We'll never know if we would have needed the same level of lockdowns if our country was healthier and data from other "healthier" countries suggest that they still had lockdowns and many of the same issues that we had. The biggest problem with COVID may not even be big pharma's fault. That problem is that the vaccines have proven to be largely ineffective when it comes to keeping someone from catching the virus, which is not what was advertised when the vaccines were being pushed. So, even though the vaccine doesn't work as promised initially, they are willing to take billions of dollars in payment for the vaccines. I say that even though I believe the vaccines and boosters do reduce the odds of death from COVID. Still, big pharma has profited a lot from providing a flawed product that's been further tainted by the politics of the situation.

I personally don’t know of any major disease or pandemic that was solved through holistic methods . Wish they were and I am not arrogant to think I personally have knowledge of every disease that was cured by said method .

Here's a hint: it doesn't have to deal with treating a pandemic with drugs.
I had it in November 2020, and probably again about a month ago. Didn't get tested the second time because I didn't want to get quarantined out of town for two weeks. First time was nothing. Second time I was sicker, moderate cold symptoms may have had a secondary infection.
Make sure you're getting plenty of Vitamin D and Vitamin C.
My uncle has a great story about his colonoscopy. Similar circumstances, only he had a bit of a reaction to the white stuff.
I'm willing to bet that most to almost all the Covid Death's of friends, co worker's, family, people you know, etc, probably died in late/end of 2019 to beginning of 2021 at the very latest.
There was 600k dead 2019/2020, because didn't have good treatment, diagnosis, deadlier original variant of Covid, no vaccines, people not social distancing, riots, people still shoulder to shoulder, etc.
Still low .50% to .75% of 1% mortality rate out of about 115 mil to 125 mil to 135 mil to 150 mil cases.
2020/2021 Delta Variant was less deadly, more contagious. About 100k to 200k to 300k at very most died. About a .23% to .33% to .43% of 1% mortality rate out of about 150 mil to 175 mil to 200 mil more cases.
2021/2022 was is a combo of Delta, and Omicron. About 75k to 115k to 150k to 175k dead, .14% to .23% to .30% of 1% mortality rate, millions of cases.
Last 3 to 6 months to Present: Omicron, Delta. About 9k to 17k to 33k to 67k dead. About a .07% to .10% to .13% to .15% to .17% out of 1% mortality rate. When Flu used to be around it killed more. Millions of cases. Projected about 200 mil to 300 mil to 400 mil cases, and that everybody in world will get it. Least deadly, most contagious.
See the pattern? With each new year, measuring period, etc, Covid keeps on getting less deadly, more contagious.
After Omicron the next variant will probably be even less deadly, more contagious, to where mortality rate will be .03% to .06% to .09% of 1%. Then next variant year, .01% to .02% to .03% 0f 1% mortality rate.
The deaths of the people you know, probably happened semi longer ago in the Covid past, and probably not close to recent.
Also that is where you live. Just because it was that way where you live or that way with people you knew, doesn't mean it's that way with everybody else.
Out of the HUNDREDS I KNOW, NONE HAVE BEEN HOSPITALIZED DIED OF COVID. And I know LOTS who were Elderly, had Comorbidities, unvaccinated, etc, who DIDNT GET HOSPITALIZED, DIE OF COVID.
And only about 5 to 10 to 20 to 40 out of the whole County, I live in has died of Covid.
The Covid reality is probably somewhere in the middle between you and me. My situation is probably a OUTLIER. And your situation of all those people you know dying, is a OUTLIER.
In any case, that is in the PAST. Now Omicron/Covid is NOTHING, and probably remain nothing in future.
And the leadership, Inslee, Biden, others, don't want to give up power, control, money, etc, and so will continue to HYPE, FEAR MONGER the hell out of Covid and Milk Covid for all it's worth.
I would say that things should get back to pre Covid normal in the next 1,2,3 years, but because of Inslee, Biden, it will probably take 4 to 7 to 10 to 13 years to get back to pre Covid normal, unless courts, intervention.
Mik what is it you are after ? Do you want things to get back to normal? How does that happen ?
how do we get to point where games aren’t canceled ? How do we get point where your church doesn’t make a decision to cancel service ? How do we get to a point where your daughter isn’t at risk? How do we get to point where my neighbor can’t get his back surgery and not be behind covid?
