My Daughter and 99.999% of everyone else's daughter's are not at risk of getting Covid, and then being hospitalized, and then dying of Covid, and won't get Covid, an then get hospitalized, an then die of Covid.

And the .0001% of Kids that had EXTREMELY SERIOUS COVID problems, were those that had a compromised immune system, EXTREMELY UNHEALTHY, had cancer, etc.

And my 9 year old daughter Laura, who has type 1 diabetes, probably had a mild cold/flu like COVID, when wife got Covid, quarantined, whose COVID was also MILD, and my wife is also borderline pre type 2 diabetic, at higher more vulnerable risk to getting covid, being seriously affected by Covid, but yet is still not Vaccinated.

And I haven't gotten Covid yet despite how I was unvaccinated for 2 years, before getting vaccinated, because stroke put me at higher risk, despite being exposed to COVID LOTS of times.

And like I said, NONE OF THE HUNDREDS I KNOW HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY AFFECTED, HOSPITALIZED, DIED, ETC, OF COVID.

AND LIKE I SAID I KNOW A LOT OF 59 TO 69 TO 79 year old people that have got Covid and were not hospitalized, did not die, weren't seriously affected by Covid.

The fact is ED, that OMICRON COVID is NOT a BIG DEAL. IT IS OVER HYPED.

My bad I thought I have been clear. I am ok and willing to “write off” those who are fat, old, have had medical issues that are susceptible to covid as “causalities of war”. You consistently bring up death rates . I will even go with what ever number range you come up with. Say the actual deaths are 400k in two years vs 800k. I will agree with you .

But you consistently ignore really what is going on. 1) Ed nor Inslee or Biden shut down your church . Not one of us.

2) In my town their local restaurants shut their doors just after Christmas for about ten days. Not because of me Inslee or Biden. They shut down on their own accord cause every employee was sick . Not just quarantining but sick .

3) A friend of mine who has a business of 700 employees had 70 employees out for numerous days . Not because of any mandate . But because they were sick . 4) My local qfc had a sign on the door asking patrons to be patient because 2/3’s of their staff is sick . That wasnt inslee etc.

Again, I am talking about human nature . The mayor of New York didn’t have to shut things down during Christmas … there are enough people who are making that decision on their own. Most people have elderly friends and parents and it becomes a decision at the height of Omicron, do I go to a restaurant before Christmas and risk getting covid from a highly contagious Variant or do I be a smidge more reserved so I can see my family .

Veterinarian and other doctors are overwhelmed. We aren’t able to get normal care because employees are out sick etc . While your local hospital is fine, my neighbor can’t get his back surgery because of the hospital being full.

Games will continue to be canceled in hoops. Events will be put off . A friend of mine had three bridal showers to go to… all three have been canceled. Not by a inslee , Couged or Joe Biden. You can keep railing on deaths but my issues aren’t with “death”. CougEd goes out to dinner, went to the Eagles concert in November . What I do after those times is make sure I don’t go around people I can infect that could be harmed by my actions.

And in the future all I ask is two things … if we are in a small space all I ask is you tell me you aren’t vaxed . And two… if you are in the hospital and you aren’t vaxed and we have room issues, you go to the parking lot while my neighbor for example gets his needed surgery .

And normal isn’t going to be normal as long as your church for example from the bottom uo cancels services … and it won’t be normal until this virus burns out.

Just out of curiosity , what if the next variant is contagious as omicron and deadly as delta ? Is that a possibility ?

Finally my apologies , I thought your daughter was under five with juvenile diabetes which I believe would be at a higher risk for more severe reaction to covid .

If you are referring to the video linked above.....the guy did not show any data that appeared in the video. Spouting off percentage increases and random numbers without giving their basis is meaningless.

I would say that we are all 35% dumber for having seen even the thumbnail of that video. That contains as much hard data as we saw in the video.

FWIW, the guy in the mentions that miscarriages are up 300%. That is saying that there were 4 times as many miscarriages in women with the vaccine. I did a little looking and found an article from the mayo clinic that said 10% of pregnancies end in miscarriage. The March of Dimes says that the number is 10-15% That would imply that amongst vaccinated women, 40-60% would be having miscarriages if it increased by 300%. There isn't enough aluminum foil in the world to make me believe that obviously bullsh!t statistic.

Without extensive charts, data and PROOF that the charts and data aren't BS, I never believe anything I read and over the past two years, every time I've seen so called "data" with regards to COVID or the 2020 vote, it becomes obvious that the person presenting the data is completely and totally full of crap. The information is either blatantly false or so cherry picked or manipulated that it isn't relevant for the general population. 75% of 23 year old Caucasian men who were born in the month of December in Pasco, Washington experienced diarrhea after taking the vaccine. I had it in November 2020, and probably again about a month ago. Didn't get tested the second time because I didn't want to get quarantined out of town for two weeks. First time was nothing. Second time I was sicker, moderate cold symptoms may have had a secondary infection.

Make sure you're getting plenty of Vitamin D and Vitamin C.

Here's an anecdotal story about the effectiveness of the home tests. My wife and I (both vaxxer and boosted) were going to take a cruise out of Miami on Jan 23. You had to produce a negative test within 96 hours of going per NCL. We scheduled one thru Walgreens on Wednesday (leaving on sunday) but it took 3 days to get the results. We also (as a backup) scheduled one at the fairgrounds in spokane on Friday (2 days before cruising...1 day before flying out).

Here's the fun part...we took a home test on Tuesday (one day BEFORE the walgeeens test). I was negative, she was positive. All she had was a sore throat for one day 2 days prior. We took another home test on Thursday. Again I was negative and she was positive. She now had zero symptoms. On Friday, the day of our 2nd official test at the fairgrounds we got the results from the Wednesday Walgreens test. I was negative and she was positive - just as our 2 home tests showed.

We decided to cancel the cruise because NCL was going to test you before you board and we figured why fly down there for a test we know will come back positive for her. She had to tell her work she had tested positive so they made her take a rapid results test and IT ALSO came back positive and they sent her home.

So she found a place in Puerta Vallarta because if she didnt get away from her job, she probably was going to put a gun to her temple and she had a week off anyway. I took another home test on Saturday and it was, again, negative. On Sunday morning at 3:30am we each took another home test figuring shes gotta be almost over this and if I start to test positive then we cancel the PV trip. Mine was negative and hers was STILL positive. So...we flew out on Sunday for some nice hot weather. On Monday the results came back from the fairgrounds test (3 days after, ugh!) and it showed negative for me and positive for her. So the home test was very consistent with the official tests all along.

I don't know why I haven't picked this thing up......unless...she got it from ME a week or so before when all I had was some congestion at best.

Long story short (too late, I know) we are in beautiful and highly underrated PV. But, and it's a BIG but...you have to produce a negative test within 24 hours of boarding a flight back to the USA. We're saving our last home test for this Friday and crossing our fingers that it isn't me this time because you can't go home without a negative test. Stay tuned...

P.S., I always make sure to wear Coug stuff wherever I go and in 2 days got 6 "Go Cougs" from the masses milling about! That's pretty much all I have to say about that.

Good luck. If you get stuck there just enjoy yourself. Lots of great restaurants there - make sure you eat out as much as possible - Cafe Des Artistes is definitely worth going to… sadly I see my favorite, El Arrayan, closed last year… but whatever you do make sure you indulge.

Be careful you don't get it... You'll probably die. Stats show 100% probability. Oh and to make sure you don't get it you should probably do the following:

1. Take hand sanitizer baths 3 times daily.
2. While driving your car, seal off each section of the car so that you're not breathing the same air.
3. While at home by yourself, run in place every hour in 15 min intervals while wearing 6 masks.
4. Before you take a home test, wind the clock back to a point you knew you tested negative for Covid as to avoid producing a positive result. The Covid virus is dumb and can't infect you if you're not infectible.
5. Last, and most importantly, ask yourself this question anytime you're faced with a difficult Covid scenario: "What would Bubble Boy do?"

Here's an anecdotal story about the effectiveness of the home tests. My wife and I (both vaxxer and boosted) were going to take a cruise out of Miami on Jan 23. You had to produce a negative test within 96 hours of going per NCL. We scheduled one thru Walgreens on Wednesday (leaving on sunday) but it took 3 days to get the results. We also (as a backup) scheduled one at the fairgrounds in spokane on Friday (2 days before cruising...1 day before flying out).

Here's the fun part...we took a home test on Tuesday (one day BEFORE the walgeeens test). I was negative, she was positive. All she had was a sore throat for one day 2 days prior. We took another home test on Thursday. Again I was negative and she was positive. She now had zero symptoms. On Friday, the day of our 2nd official test at the fairgrounds we got the results from the Wednesday Walgreens test. I was negative and she was positive - just as our 2 home tests showed.

We decided to cancel the cruise because NCL was going to test you before you board and we figured why fly down there for a test we know will come back positive for her. She had to tell her work she had tested positive so they made her take a rapid results test and IT ALSO came back positive and they sent her home.

So she found a place in Puerta Vallarta because if she didnt get away from her job, she probably was going to put a gun to her temple and she had a week off anyway. I took another home test on Saturday and it was, again, negative. On Sunday morning at 3:30am we each took another home test figuring shes gotta be almost over this and if I start to test positive then we cancel the PV trip. Mine was negative and hers was STILL positive. So...we flew out on Sunday for some nice hot weather. On Monday the results came back from the fairgrounds test (3 days after, ugh!) and it showed negative for me and positive for her. So the home test was very consistent with the official tests all along.

I don't know why I haven't picked this thing up......unless...she got it from ME a week or so before when all I had was some congestion at best.

Long story short (too late, I know) we are in beautiful and highly underrated PV. But, and it's a BIG but...you have to produce a negative test within 24 hours of boarding a flight back to the USA. We're saving our last home test for this Friday and crossing our fingers that it isn't me this time because you can't go home without a negative test. Stay tuned...

P.S., I always make sure to wear Coug stuff wherever I go and in 2 days got 6 "Go Cougs" from the masses milling about! That's pretty much all I have to say about that.

Have fun in PV, haven't been there in years. Used to love Cuetos Seafood, off the beaten path about 1/4 mile behind the baseball field across from the Sheridan. I see it is now closed. Bummer.

Ate with a buddy this week who came down with covid the following day. Now I’m feeling it. Headache, body ache, bothered throat and about 2.5 degrees hotter than normal. Still eating and drink at the moment. This is with Moderna 2x back in April. Just curious to those here that have had it what it was like for you, assuming it’s omicron. Gonna sleuth around Twitter today to see if any recruiting news is available.

I must have been the last guy to get Delta. Got Moderna last spring. Got COVID early this January. Was cocky because supposedly Omicron was going around - learned otherwise shortly. Started with sinus drainage first night, then, starting next day and beyond, worst of it lasting for 2 weeks:

• Headache (bad, marathon headaches)
• Sore throat
• Next-level fatigue - like entire body was repurposing every atom to fight this
• GI distress
• Chills & Overheating
• Body Aches
• Deep Chest cough (continues a month+ later, still getting it out)
• Fever 102+, lasting sometimes 24 hours at a time
• Lightheadedness
• Weakness
• Shortness of breath and chest tightness
• Partial loss of smell and taste

It wasn't WORSE than the worst flu I've had, but it lasted WAY longer. Worst symptoms lasted 2 weeks, and more than a month later, lung capacity and energy/clarity are still recovering, with a daily cough ongoing...
