These available 2018 players being recruited still have not made a decision. The players are 7'4 Riley Sorn,6'9 Shaq Carter, 6'8 Eli Abaev,,6' 7 Zach Naylor,6'7 Aguir Agua, and 6'8 Elijah Lufile. There may be others like 6'8 Philip Pepples, and players we do not know about. All is quiet since Elleby made his commitment.

I hope they ink Sorn, and either Carter 6'9 240 or lufile 6'8 245, as they need a strong physical inside player for next year.Sorn will probably need two years, before he sees the court as a college basketball player. However Sorn is a local kid with great potential and he only lives about a 2 hour and 19 minute drive away from Pullman.

JC players wait a lot of times until spring hoping to increase their options. With high school players it's starting to get late ove the next few weeks.

Shaq Carter juco has committed to Rutgers. Well maybe Lufile or the 6'8 220 Pepples still remain possibilities?

7' Center, Octavion Corley of Casper College (JUCO).

Skinny, listed from 6-9 to 7 foot. 185. Out of Reno. According to ESPN in HS he had a drop step and could finish with an elbow shot. Quick jumped. Long arms and soft hands.

Started only 6 games at Casper. Has a Pacific offer.

i do not believe the cougs are recruiting him? The cougs need an immediate competitor not a project. Perhaps he is rapidly improving?

There wasn't much other than dunks and blocks in this highlight. He's definitely long and I have stopped worrying too much about "girth". For the sake of comparison he's a much quicker jumper than Izundu.

Verbals commits says WSU and VCU were in to see him but no offer yet.

I saw where they visited him on September 14. I checked on him and he averaged 3.9 pts and 2.7 rbs last year in juco. His high school figures were better as he averaged 18 pts and 8 rbs and about 3 blks per game,He is currently listed at 7'0 212 pds He is a quick jumper and can definitely get up there. In high school, he was listed at 6'9 185 so he has grown. At this stage,he is a rim protector who can score on put backs and dunks inside. If he has improved ,he may be worth an offer. He needs about 15-20 pds of muscle or he will get eaten alive in D 1 ball. Izundu is a good comparison as he could sky but often put himself in bad position and too easily left his feet. Izundu never fulfilled his promise and usually was in early foul trouble. The two jucos currently on the coug s roster had a frosh 7-0 teammate who showed more promise last year.I forgot his name but he shared court time almost equally last year at the center position.

Izundu was a sloooow jumper. Killed him once the scout got him.
