Sounds like Leavitt flipped to Michigan State

Very talented kid, but has been gone for a few days. Dunno if it will be UW or Michigan St. but it feels very Bruggmanesque as far as his future. Could see him bounce to numerous schools unless he’s the man.

Michigan St has MORE MONEY, MORE NIL MONEY, AND A WAY THE HELL BETTER PROGRAM THEN UW.

Sam would be smart to go-to UW, where he would be a better fit.

It's EXTREMELY UNLIKELY that Sam flips to UW from Michigan St, hours, days, weeks AFTER, he Posted that Tweet, BEFORE, and in, during the 1 week until signing day.

Not saying it couldn't happen, just extremely unlikely

Hey Mik. Relax. He’s an 18 year old kid. We just flipped a RB the other day. It’ll be alright. That said, a couple things. 1. Michigan State is a shit show right now so if that’s what he wants, have fun. With the meltdown and lack of character shown in that program they have some significant problems there, and may have coaching changes of their own in a year or two.
2. That other QB Colton is a frickin beast. And we have a freshman enrolled that looks like the real deal too. I’d say chances of one of those two guys being better than Sam (HS ball in Oregon btw) is pretty high.

Well there you go he just de-committed. Whatever, obviously if he goes to UW I hope he sucks ass, otherwise best of luck to the kid, next man up.

Michigan State is not a better football program than UW.
Agree...and if I'm being honest about this, I would not have picked MSU over UW if I were a top QB prospect. It isn't even close either.

Tucker is not that good of a coach. I think UW, on the other hand, has hired an excellent coach.

Maybe the kid thinks he will start at MSU next year? He certainly won't at UW. I guess he can always transfer from MSU, so perhaps from that perspective it makes sense to pick MSU.

It was an NIL money grab. This has been confirmed.

It had to have been, because even tho Michigan State is the technically better program, then UW, UW is the better program FIT wise for Sam.

At Michigan St, Sam, IF he starts, would only be a Glorified hand the ball off to the Running Back WATERBOY.

At UW, he would probably be equal or better then the other UW QB's, and have a decent, ok chance to start, and would get good coaching, QB development, under Deboer a GOOD COACH, and would likely pass for 4000 yards, 40 TD's, have chance at Heisman, have chance at Rosebowl, CFP, have chance at NFL, etc.

But instead he is going to be the whipping boy of the Big 10.

And the only possible reason he would do that, is if for NIL, unless he is STUPID, and don't think he is that stupid.

I'm glad he chose Michigan St over the Huskies.

Hope he enjoys his NIL money.

Normally, I'd expect an Oregon kid, especially, to choose UW over Michigan State, especially with UW having the #1 passing offense in the country and Michigan State's being shitty, but remember, Seattle and the U District aren't everyone's cup of tea. They weren't for me.

I don't know what East Lansing is like, and based on the proximity to Detroit I doubt it would be my or his cup of tea either, but if it's more of a college experience than UW offers, I could see choosing it, especially with some NIL cash and some promises about opportunity and the offense going forward.

Ohio State sucks just as much as UW. Both universities are puke central.

By sucking if you mean there is the same reasons not to like, not be a fan of Ohio State, like into UW, THATS TRUE.

If you mean that Ohio State is a sucky, not as good of a program, just like UW, then that not true.

Ohio State REGULARLY, ALMOST EVERY YEAR, makes the CFP. THATS NOT BEING A NOT GOOD, NOT WINNING, SUCKY, etc, just like UW.

Ohio State is a TRUE BLUE BLOOD PROGRAM UNLIKE UW.

That said I hope Ohio State loses every game.

He means it is a lousy commuter school, I think. At least Ohio State kids can have good sports teams, even if they go back to mom's basement every weekend.

I'd argue Ohio State has the worst fans in all of CFB. I root against them, UW, and Oklahoma every week.

There is a difference between them having the worst fans, etc, and things like that, and winning and losing, etc.

Ohio State does suck because of fans and other things like that. And because of that I hope they lose every game.

But Ohio State does not have a losing, sucky program, and are a TRUE BLUE BLOOD, THAT IS IN THE CFP ALMOST EVERY YEAR.

There is a difference between those things.

Maybe we can grab the kid who was going to Michigan State until recently:

He was injured earlier in the season but was the kind of prospect who was set to blow up a bit.

At least among uncommitted prospects, pickings are pretty slim.

See the kid that WSU Dickert got from CA.

4000 yards, 40 TD's, 122 passer rating, 70% completion, extremely few Int's, 15 yards per completion, 4.50 40, strong, accurate arm, PROBABLY WAY THE HELL BETTER then BO EDMOND.

Pickings may be or seem slim, but WSU/Dickert got a extremely good one.

I like that kid but I am pretty sure he's a PWO. Edmundson has a better arm, even if the other kid is more athletic. I'd like to see them both. While I don't like giving out info on here due all the psychos, it's fair to say I got to watch a lot of Edmundson play this year. The biggest danger with these Texas kids is that they often look to come home.

The days of 4 year players are far and few between now, maybe even over. Even if WSU can keep a kid for 4 years, will there be the NIL $ to pay him all four years?

WSU could be best served to either be all portal and juco kids (with limited years left or free transfer year gone) or be all high school kids knowing that a large percentage of them won’t finish.

Walking the tightrope of high school, portal and juco kids could prove difficult to do.
I agree, the way it is going grab as many as you can from the portal and JC, there is no more loyalty so none should be shown, tell them to "respect our decision" to recruit over you and send you packing

Luke Falk was an invited walk on (I think?).

I’m no expert but I think he’s a Pac-12 talent and will earn a scholarship quickly.

Yeah, Falk was a PWO. So was Baker Mayfield. I think they need to bring in a scholie QB if they can, though, even if we all like the highlight reel of the SoCal kid other than the arm not being the strongest. Gotta keep the talent flowing as much as possible.
