For what it's worth, Marks was a 4-star on Brand X, too. It's easy to forget how that 2012 class went from essentially nobody with other P5 offers, with guys like the Jackson twins (remember them?) to a class that included guys like Marks, Palacio, Allison, Pettway (lots of promise until concussions did him in), Gauta, Lewis, and Veaeo very quickly.
