Gordon was very hard for me to root for. Cocky, sh!t talking, mistake prone QBs are the worst.

His play calling sucked. He has some tools. In no way, shape or form should he have been allowed any input into play calling.

It comes down to leadership both with the coaches and on the field. Leach made bad decisions and this is the result I still think that Gabrud should give the CFL a try and he may surprise,

My 2 cents. I thought the defense was okay. They got to the runner, just could not bring them down. Those extra 4-6 yards were killers. Seemed liked we were more interested in stripping the ball then knocking them over. Those 2 goal line failures sure made the difference between winning and losing. I, like others did not prefer Gordon. I thought he was immature to be the leader. Even during the course of the year it was noted by his teammates that he had to stop antagonizing the other team. I would have preferred Gubrub to an extent. He has been in the Championship game at a lower level. But was he at WSU to follow the Minshew's way to the NFL? Wrong motivation for me. If Guburd would have started would that close the door on top QB's coming to WSU. As transfers would be perceived to start over those who paid their dues. A couple of games got away from us UCLA, AZ ST & ORE. Looking forward to next year with a lot of returning players.

Last night, Air Force controlled the ball for nearly 70% of the game. Tom Brady or Patrick Mahommes don’t win the game for us yesterday.

I’m not sad at all to see Gordon move on, but the defense was atrocious last night and have been all season. What are we going to do about that?

AF forces you to score on every drive.

MB with 6 carries? Did you see the WR stats? Not exactly distribution at its finest.

The defense needs a lot of help. Let’s not pretend that the offense is a fine tuned engine though.

I don’t disagree, but the defensive plan was embarrassing last night. They held the ball all damn game. At what point do you say, screw it and bring 9 guys up to the LOS and not allow wide runs? So what if they hit some passes over the top?

If you arent willing to lock up the WRs in a triple option scheme and bring your safeties up... you are giving them too much respect.

Need to hope some leaders emerge. This team had zero team leadership, last night was another shining example.

Also, we’ve got predominantly big sky bodies playing DLine, with the exception of LM who finally got into shape by the end of the season. Not going to cut it.

we had about a Halliday at qb except for 1-2 games. Not the same skill sets but about the same level of play

The camera angles never show the whole field so its hard to tell if other receivers are just not getting open or AG is just so locked onto Arcanado that he doesn't bother looking, but his distribution against real opposition is nonexistent. Its Brandon or bust.

yup, I thought he was NFL talent until last night. You can’t flush out of the pocket early over and over and eliminate 2/3 of the field in an offense predicated on using every inch of space on the field. Gordon can make some incredible throws, but he’s lacking in some really basic QB fundamentals and he never improved in those.
