That guy is Barry Sanders

When the tacklers don’t wrap up it is hard to tell Barry from Earl. I saw more Barry yesterday, but I understand either comparison. Both were amazing at keeping their feet after a hit, and without a wrap up, they were not going down.

You can can't get hit like he was getting hit. NFL is a different load.

He will be good, but he won't last long with what will be coming his way
AP ran like this in college and played till 40. You’re always better off giving hits than taking them.

We all know NFL backs have shorter careers than other positions because of how much abuse their bodies take + how many good backs there are, but no reason to think his career will be shorter because he is a punishing back.

He is listed at 5'9" 215lbs. He is not small. Plus, he doesn't take hits strait on. He has a lot of subtle shift in him. He is going to be a good one in the NFL.

As someone from Barry Sanders' hometown....Jeanty is no Barry Sanders. That said, he's going to be a great running back if he can hold up under the load. As an old guy, he reminds me of Ahman Green from Nebraska. That dude was hard to take down as well. Jeanty has a slightly lower of gravity so he's probably even harder than Green was to tackle.

Jeanty is 5'9" like Johnathon Smith was 5'10".

I'm 5'10" and saw some kids tossing the ball outside of Reser after we beat them back in 200X. I'm a solid 5'10" and as I walked by I realized one of the kids was Smith, and 5'8" would be generous.

Charles White. That dude never went backwards when hit. Took all kinds of shots in college and always fell forward when finally tackled. That's all I have to say about that

For a RB, diminutive stature can be an advantage, not a detriment. Can hide behind massive OL and then appear suddenly, bowling your ass over or running by you.
