So I'll get this ball rolling.

Positives: I like the "alerts" flag, I like how you can click and go directly to the new responses. The "likes" I think are actually handy. I no longer have to post something, I can just "like" it and everyone gets the point.

Negatives: Holy crap… can we PLEASE get an actual structure of the thread, so we can see whom is responding to whom (without having to quote) and be able to see how/where the thread evolved!!!! If I say pretty, pretty, pretty please will that get an actual thread structure? Even if it's just an option, like the older site? We at least had an option to look at it like this OR a thread.

Thoughts? What is it that is good and bad about this new format for you guys/gals? Our chance, for what it's worth, to let them know what we like, don't like.

I like the option to quote more than one person in your post. Although, I seem to have some issue with it. A couple times, it added a quote to my post and I can't even find the quoted post to remove it.

Also, there have been a couple times where I starting typing a response, decided not to post it. Read through some more of the thread, replied to a completely different post, but it saved my previous response I didn't intend to post.

Odd format, but I think it will just take some getting used to.

Yep, both those things have happened to me too.

The lack of thread view shows that the folks who put the "new, improved" version together had no clue how the people who post regularly think or how they use the board. I have to assume that this was driven by a desire to make the hand held device interface a little better...but IMHO they missed the mark. I post less now and visit less frequently, because frankly, the new format is one more aggravation that I don't need.

I can't even access the message board on my Droid.
