Theo Lawson is moving into TMZ Reporting

For those of us that follow Theo of the Spokesman-Review the last few years. His reporting has changed this year. Not sure why, but with the Spokesman-Review losing real money & a change in coverage style, was Theo told to become a bit more TMZ & less traditional reporter? There’s been several examples through the year, but the 3 that stick out are 1) HBO....he seemed to tweet the play-by-play about the drama 2) Him tweeting incorrect info about Dominick Silvels which caused Silveles to respond directly to him that his info was wrong 3) Tonight as he play-by-plays Leach-Blanchette.

He’s a troll now. You can tell in his tweets he’s anti Wazzu. He never tweets if a call is controversial, just that is a penalty on Wazzu. He said tonight he isn’t employed by WSU but by the Spokesman Review. It’s Gonzaga hoops season. That’s when they get their money. Wazzu isn’t anything for them and they don’t really car about the coverage. Seattle Times the same. He’s about the clicks.
