If you didn't see this video, excellent analogy.

"What if you had a long term girlfriend and she wanted to dump you and move out of the house you both have lived in for years and take stuff..."

I'm glad to see the Cougs and Beavs play the hand they've been dealt properly. I don't like what's happened. The other 10 should have no say over the conference anymore. Those are the rules everyone agreed to.

But the Cougs and Beavs were also seeking a landing place elsewhere, so the "loyal vs. disloyal" narrative is a little misplaced with respect to any school outside of LA.

The other 10 schools would have a MASSIVE PR problem if they push around the Beavs/Cougs too much on the way out the door. No one will excuse them for that behavior since the majority of fans seem to support the Pac-12 staying together but understand that the current situation was inevitable given the failure of leadership and strategy by the conference.

I doubt most of them GAF. Did UW consider the optics of fighting the WSU med school? I’m sure they did. And it was deservedly horrible, and they decided to go forward with their fight anyways. This is one dick in a bag full of them historically for UW. They don’t care. Greed and arrogance have been on full display for everyone to see for decades. I bet most of the deserters are in the same camp with maybe the exception of Utah.
