Top Breakout Players

CBS sports story listing the top 15 possible breakout candidates for the upcoming season. Just one Pac 12 player listed - Carter Skaggs. A lot of Cougar fans would be surprised if this happens.

Skaggs will get his minutes and if he consistently can get decent looks he will make shots. I think we might have more ability to hide him on the other end this year. At least I am hopefully our defense improves.

Skaggs will not be a breakout player but it is good publicity which the program needs

I wouldnt bet on it, but would not be surprised if Skaggs had a breakout year. Of course it also depends on what you call breakout.

I’m not sure about breakout year but I suspect his scoring numbers to top double figures. According to Kent he has benifited from his year in the program, remember he showed up real late last year. If anything I would say his break out year was last year he certainly exceeded my expectations
