Don't know if there is much interest either direction but he seems to fit the type of player Ernie Kent wants. He is leaving Minnesota now so if he enrolled at x-mas break I believe he would be able to play x-mas of next year.

For those that don't know he is from Washington State, played high school ball at Bothell and averaged over 25 points a game. He was a 3 to 4 star recruit with plenty of high major offers including UW who most thought would get him. WSU showed early interest but was shut down maybe Kent could be a little more enticing especially if the kid's bubble burst a tad.

I always thought it was strange for Martin to go to Minnesota. Unless it's climate related I hope he gives us a look.

Considering Gonzaga's penchant for pilfering players from other programs, I wouldn't be shocked to see him in Spokane soon.

He had better have shown something.Martin's college stats are more like the players the previous coug coach used to get..

Josh Martin is only a FR with 7 games played not sure the stats are to relevant. He was a 3/4 star recruit that is exactly what you thought Cheatum would be. A big skilled athlete who can run and jump with anybody, don't know what the issue was at UM but he had impressive high school numbers and impressive offers before committing to the Gophers. He seems to fit what Kent wants in his post file://localhost/Users/markdupuis/Desktop/Josh%20%22Hulk%22%20Martin%20(Minnesota%20Commit)%20Official%20Mixtape%20-%20YouTube.webloc

My first look at the man. i wonder what his height really is? He looks to be about 6'6 1/2. If he is really 6'8 then he has a much better chance of playing. is he shorter than advertised, much like Cheatum? The little info coming out of Minnesota is that he was falling further and further down the playing list.
