Ventura (Calif.) St. Bonaventure receiver Lavan Alston confirmed he'll officially visit Washington State on January 16 tonight and says he'll also visit Nebraska on January 30, according to his Twitter account.
Oregon State and California are the two other schools in the running, however it appears Washington State, OSU and Nebraska are the three schools it will come down to for the three-star receiver. Alston was previously committed to Oregon State, but when Mike Riley left for Nebraska, he opened his recruitment back up.
His primary recruiter at Oregon State remained on the Beavers' staff, so a re-commitment wouldn't be out of the question. Dennis Simmons has done a good job of recruiting Alston and I think Washington State has a very good shot here.
