Don't get me wrong. At this point it seems we couldn't hold Utah State's jockstrap.

But Utah doesn't look good, barely beating Utah State at home. Defense looks decent as usual but offense looks awful.

How are they ranked after beating Michigan at home? Don't expect them to contend in 2015-16.

Utah is what Utah is. Good defense, good special teams, mediocre offense.

Utah St's QB played injured the whole game. Hope he's healthy against the dogs. Utes have a QB problem.

When haven't the Utes had a QB problem? Ever since they've stepped up to big boy football, their QB play has looked subpar. BTW, it's a rivalry game and you can't get too caught up in how teams look in those situations. I personally believe that the quality of play overall is down this year. The majority of teams seem to be struggling more than in the past, particularly in the Pac-12.

It is strange. Ordinarily you'll have a slew of teams open the season trouncing their cupcake opponents and continuing with solid performances into the middle of the season, only to run out of gas (or ideas) at the end. This year, I can probably count on one hand the number of teams who look like world-beaters even in the early going, while there are 100+ teams that appear to have obvious problems from Day 1.
