Another one slips away. Hristova hurt her ankle in the 2nd qtr. and didn't return. First 3 quarters Colorado would come out hot but we would chip away to end the quarter and stay close. Finally in the 4th quarter we took the lead but just some bad decisions. Turnovers, poor rebounding, etc. On one CU possession in the 4th we played good defense, shot clock was winding down with the CU player about 25 or 30 feet from the basket. With 1 second on the clock we foul and they make the 3 free throws. It might not have been a foul but you just can't give the refs a reason to call it in that situation.
We didn't play the best yesterday but we have found different ways to drop SC, Oregon State, Utah (2), and CU plus getting blown out by a 1 win UW. We could and should be no worse than .500 in conference.
