Remember the good old days ~8 years ago when we would get miffed that we weren't respected as a conference? Does anyone feel that way anymore? Who has been consistently good over that time outside of perhaps Oregon?

Definitely don't feel that way. Only one other team can claim somewhat reasonably that it's been "good," subject to some interpretation of the term and our knowledge that the team actually wasn't good last year, likely isn't any good this year, and wasn't very good in the first couple years of a dentally well-endowed coach's tenure, over that period. I'd prefer not to name it.
