In a profile on Evan Weaver in the Athletic that discussed how he's been such a tackling machine at LB despite being "only" a low 3-star who was recruited as a DE, Wilcox discusses how he focuses on looking at production (not just physical attributes) when looking at HS recruits. Seeing Weaver's success, and some of our issues with tackling, makes me think that it could help us to bring in some recruits who have good instincts and just have tackled a shitload of guys in HS or JC ball, assuming their measurables are at least decent at the Pac-12 level.
