Why does everything have to be about catching up to the current trend? Why not build an identify of our own?

I guess I assumed if we've done it in the past it isn't new for us. We aren't catching up to any trend....

What percentage of Coug fans would you guess knows that WSU at one point in the ancient past wore white helmets? The last time they were worn was at least the early 1960s.

And to be fair, the early 2000's is basically ancient history to most kids these days as well...
