to see a bunch of WSU MBB players in the tourney on other teams.

You know what, good for them. Wish them nothing but the best.

If WSU is just the stepping stone for overlooked and sub-P4 talent but provides the invaluable opportunity for these kids to go on and win at another school, I couldn't be happier.

Good for them, and good for us.

I see nothing but great things in the future for Cougs MBB.

Like the 3rd (4th?) tier post-season tourney that provides yet another opportunity for kids on the roster to display their skills for other schools so they can get poached.

The Crown is a 2.5 tier tournament, not a 3rd or 4th tier tournament.

Some NIT teams are skipping, have skipped, rejected NIT invites, bids, to play in the CROWN.

There are some pretty damn good teams in the CROWN.

ALL teams that make Semi Finals, get a special NIL fund prize. And it's not pay to play.

FOX, and the Big East, Big 10, Big 12, are the sponsors, and the big 3 conferences, have to have 2 teams from their conference in tournament, with 10 at large bids.

There is only 3, THREE P4 teams in NIT, the rest are mid major, while THE CROWN has at least 6,7,8 P4 teams, that better then the 3 P4 NIT teams.

You're a better man than I.

Sarcasm aside it isn't obvious to me that players who have left the program have been that successful. TJ. Bamba left two years ago to go to Villanova and they didn't make the tourney--we did. This year he played at Oregon. He is a talented athlete who always seemed to overestimate his offensive ability. He did it again last night forcing several bad shots in a close loss to Arizona. This year Rice went to Indiana. They didn't make the tourney and neither did Jaki who went to Colorado. Two years ago Rodman left for USC and they didn't make the tourney while we did. Perhaps there is someone obvious I'm forgetting but overall it doesn't seem to me these moves have worked for the players involved. Sure we could have used Rice and even Bamba this year but unfortunately such movement is part of the modern BB scene.

Chinyelu, who is doing well at #1 seed in NCAA tournament, Florida, that has been ripping it up, partly because of Chinyelu.
