It is possible to win while playing poorly, coaching poorly and generally not showing well on one side of the ball. WSU did not win because the offense had an amazing outing. 17 points isn’t gonna be enough every week. Passing 50% in the first half isn’t gonna be good enough. The play calling sucked. Both teams left a lot of meat on the bone. WSU just happened to have more gas down the stretch.
I hate the 425 defense. It was coached about as well as you can coach it against Wiscy. They played hard nosed, all day tough, ultimate effort football. Carried the team to the win.
